Video: LeBron’s Travel, and DeShawn’s Continued Dislike of Him
According to LeBron James, what he did last night in the waning moments of the Cavs/Wiz game was perfectly legal. Hell, he trademarked it. So don’t even try to steal it! It’s called a “crab dribble”, whatever that means, and here it is, for your viewing pleasure:
With all due respect, Mr. Crab, that sure looks like a travel to me.
One person who enjoyed the call more than others was Washington’s DeShawn Stevenson. Here’s what he had to say about it and the man who committed the violation, via the DC Sports Bog:
“I don’t care,” DeShawn said. “It’s whatever. I don’t like him. I don’t like that dude.”
Caron Butler brushed off DeShawn’s comments and said this “feud” is going to be life-long (fun!), and besides, he was far too busy thanking God for the refs finally calling a travel on Mr. James.

But Deshawn needs to shut it. After asking your coach to bench you cuz you’re not hitting your shots:S.
Then complain about Nash’s push offs.
Then complain about Iverson and Manu’s flopping.
Then complain about Chris Paul’s cheap shots.
Just complain about basketball.
Or, enjoy the effing game.
Do y’all honestly think people LIKE Kobe?
Come on.
Be serious.
Come one, Lebron traveled, but it wasn’t an egregious one. Plus, you can’t call that travel on him after the refs let two obvious fouls slide. First fould happened on a reach in before Lebron made his move, second fould happened when he got to rim and met Ruffin. If they let the fouls slide, they had to let a minor travel slide.
Lebron will probably light up the Wiz next time.
Can we move on now please?
man, all games are televised nowadays… we can see it again on video.
james is effin ridiculous
Khalid: “Here”
Topic; About time somebody called LeBron’s BOLTing around, as much as I’m hugging you gots to stay true to the rules.
PS: Bring back handchecking, this guard-friendly-DevinHarris-and-TonyParker-can-average 25-because-they’re-quick-and-nobody-can’t-touch-them-stuff have been going on for to long (mind you coming from a fellow PG).
Did I come off bitchy? Pardon little old me.
But, like I said earlier, you can’t complain about some non-calls and not complain about others. If the refs called the game exactly according to the rules, it would be terrible in my mind. That’s not ball.
When you play pickup ball, you let certain things slide. You can’t call travel after you give a guy a forearm shiver that moves his pivot foot, but he doesn’t call for ball. That’s the way the game works. The refs could have called an obvious blocking foul against the Wizards on one of the those game winners, but let it slide. They could have called a pushing foul, but let it slide. Buy you want them to call a travel after Lebron slid his right foot to gather himself and go up strong against David Ruffin. That doesn’t seem just to me.
