  What I like about the block is that in blocking Wade’s layup, Manu avoided a collision, did a 360 and with the hand that made the block slapped the ground upon landing to keep his balance, and then tore off down the court rather than stand there and pound his chest or anything like that.

  Mason’s shot was a 2. His foot was clearly on the line. It was called a 2 from the beginning and the scoreboard quickly corrected from 87 to 86.

  Credit where it’s due, THAT was a fantastic block, that kept the play alive and no posturing either from Manu. Fantastic player. (Sorry D-Wade, you can’t keep blocking Centers/PF’s without getting a taste once in a while, still in awe of ya though)

  I gotta say the spurs recruiting departement has been top notch for the last, what, 7, 8 seasons? The always find those complementary shooters. Sean Elliot, Horry, Bones Barry, Whoo! Jackson, Findog, now Mason? They are who you need to take the pressure off the core stars, and punish anyone who tries to double down on the Robot. Great fundamental philosophy, Pop.
