Slamadaday: Russell Westbrook on Marco Belinelli

Homage to Hakim.

If you haven’t seen this dunk, welcome here again to civilization. Earl Watson placed the ball off the glass at exactly the right place and Marco Belinelli happened to be there at just the wrong time. Instant Slamadamonth candidacy. Just as an aside, Russell might have gotten a little too much confidence because he tried to dunk on the (much taller) Ronny Turiaf just after the timeout, and Turiaf rejected the rookie straight on. Don’t mess with Moses!

    I’ve never seen anyone try that in a close game. Dope. Also, the replay clearly shows Westbrook getting the Yao/Tmac/Von Wafer stuffed by the rim treatment. Ronny jus happened to have his arm in the area.

    Is it just me or is OKC about two or three years away from being the most entertaining team in the NBA? Westbrook, Green, Durant, and draft picks for years i think they gonna be hella fun to watch
