Video: A Shaqtastic Entrance

Shaq’s dancing for MVP!

Without question, Shaq’s entrance was the best in the 58 years of All-Star history. This dance with the JabbaWockeeZ is destined for YouTube lore. Shaq’s playing like an MVP tonight, but this dance essentially clinched the award before the opening tip–we know All-Star can’t be the same without the Big Cactus! Check the way Shaq pulls off the warmups. 10/10.

This was possibly the coolest thing I’ve ever seen

  • Prison Mike Posted: Feb.15 at 9:49 pm
    I remember when this happened.

  • Tzvi T Posted: Feb.15 at 9:49 pm
    Good snuff.

  • Eboy Posted: Feb.15 at 9:51 pm
    Shaq IS that guy.

  • shink Posted: Feb.15 at 9:53 pm
Man, the all-star game will be less entertaining once Shaq retires. Ain’ no one dance like shaq. Or do the crossover like him either.

  • Anton Posted: Feb.15 at 10:00 pm
I was hoping for a wardrobe malfunction

  • Mike Lickoskia Posted: Feb.15 at 10:03 pm
Yo it’s gonna suck when Big Aristotle retires. But one thing we can look forward to, hopefully, is Shaq coming into the booth and TNT getting rid of the NEGATIVE NANCY known as Reggie Miller. The guy is douchebagging this weekend up. I wish Kenny was down there with him so he could smack him in the Kapono loving face.

  • MalevolentKing7242 Posted: Feb.15 at 10:03 pm
    Best asg enterance.. EVER

  • shink Posted: Feb.15 at 10:10 pm
@Mike Lickoskia: Co-sign you on that one. Reggie Miller makes my ears bleed.

  • Mike Lickoskia Posted: Feb.15 at 10:15 pm
Guy is driving me nuts. Put C-Webb down there, put Kenny down there. Reggie just comes off arrogant and pissy like a little bitch.

  • riggs Posted: Feb.15 at 11:21 pm
shaq has passed the torch to dwight, for real theyre both big kids

  • Cheryl Posted: Feb.15 at 11:22 pm
    I love it!!

  • vic21 Posted: Feb.15 at 11:27 pm
hahaha it looks like a big ass willy wonka with a bunch of oompa loompas

  • madamerica Posted: Feb.16 at 12:13 am
easily the best part of the all-star weekend.

  • price Posted: Feb.16 at 12:16 am
i wanted a closeup of those female deejays….

  • riggs Posted: Feb.16 at 12:40 am
    co-sign^ they looked goooooood

  • RM Posted: Feb.16 at 2:01 am
I made a bet with a dude before the game: If D-Wade wins MVP, I buy the boy a D-Wade jersey. I said if Kobe wins MVP, he buys me a Kobe jersey. The boy said since Kobe won CO-MVP he only needs to buy me a t-shirt and not a jersey since it was (HALF the award.. so he has to drop his standards and buy me half of what’s good).. I think he needs to buy me what’s good.. and that’s a jersey!!! What ya’ll think? PS – Shaq on dancing with the stars? I think so! Forget Warren Sapp!!!!

  • LbJalltheway Posted: Feb.16 at 2:24 am
what is the name of that song

  • Hursty Posted: Feb.16 at 4:15 am
Anybody know what the song/mix name was? (not the last 10 seconds of the clip btw).

  • Plasticman Posted: Feb.16 at 6:42 am
Wasn’t it Hero by Nas? Not sure though. Shaq’s dance was the best thing I’ve ever seen.

  • Jake Posted: Feb.16 at 8:22 am
Could we get to the game please! The introductions were painful.

  • CHE Posted: Feb.16 at 9:12 am
Shaq did his thang. He later clowned Dwight Howard…I was rollin. But I agree with shink I think Reggie Miller is horrible. I loved him as a player but that’s because he never talked, now that he covers the games i just want to put my t.v. on mute, He is so irritating.

  • Daniel Posted: Feb.16 at 9:27 am
Shaq was the man last night. All Reggie ever does is say exactly what is going on and its frustrating. I missed a good portion of the 3 point shootout (i know nobody watched the shootout lol) because i just couldn’t listen to the guy. i want Charles back please.

  • ciolkstar Posted: Feb.16 at 10:14 am
Obvious best ASG entrance ever. For any sport.

  • ciolkstar Posted: Feb.16 at 10:15 am
…and Deez megging Dwight before getting it back and going for the dunk was terrific.

  • Melo&JR2daRaptors Posted: Feb.16 at 11:57 am
i never really understood the SLAM hate for Reggie, but after this weekend im down with any homicidal attempts u ppl may have for him.

  • Melo&JR2daRaptors Posted: Feb.16 at 11:58 am
LooooooooooooooL the mask doesn’t even fit his face

  • Loqui Posted: Feb.16 at 12:21 pm
Kenny sucked too, what an arrogant douche. The hate is strong with Kenny. Reggie was his usual annoying self and dude seriously looks like a giant penis.

  • Loqui Posted: Feb.16 at 12:23 pm
    Shaq dance + AI’s haircut > ASG

  • Marco Posted: Feb.16 at 12:24 pm
Shaq’s entrance was by far the best thing about All Star Weekend. The Game was lame, the Dunk contest was lame (Nate is a fantastic ahtlete and he got crazy hops, but he did nothing new. And on that last dunk over Dwight he pushed himself off of Superman, otherwise he wouldn’t have made it and Dwight disappointed, too), 3Point-Shootout? …….oh sorry, I just fell asleep just by thinking of it!…But back to Shaq. B.I.G put on a show and I hope he keeps on playing for at least 2 or 3 more seasons. Keep it up big fella! By the way, why was DRose mot in the Dunk Contest? His Reverse Jam in the Skillz Challenge was better than any dunk in the contest!

  • niQ Posted: Feb.16 at 1:08 pm
i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. As long as Shaq is in the ASG, you know you’ll have a great show.

  • CHE Posted: Feb.16 at 1:57 pm
Shaq’s mask was too small. I didn’t realize how huge this fool was.

  • JoeMaMa Posted: Feb.16 at 2:28 pm
A note on Reggie: he’s earned his place in the booth with clutch shooting. But 20,000+ points only gets you so much respect time in the booth before the masses rise up and beat you with Cheryl’s boots. P.S. – Dwight Howard, still with the Soulja Boy stuff? Love the man, hate the dance.

  • Teddy-the-Bear Posted: Feb.16 at 3:03 pm
Reggie Miller > The Jabawockeez. The Jabawockeez are mad g@y, but not as g@y as riggs.
Also,Loqui, Kenny Smith is classic TNT. Shut your mouth fool.
I don’t know why you people are b!tching about the TNT broadcasters, when they are awesome.
I guess you’d prefer those ESPN lames.

  • Teddy-the-Bear Posted: Feb.16 at 3:07 pm
@ Marco: ARE YOU SERIOUS? Nate didn’t do anything new?! The dunk contest this year RULED.
    You sir, are an idiot.
And he didn’t VAULT, you dumb@ss, replay the dunk. 5’7 jumping over 7’0 is f*cking insane.
I think the varsity girl’s basketball is better suited for your tastes.

  • ab_40 Posted: Feb.16 at 4:59 pm
I miss chuck who has cheryl miller had a wild night with so that reggie got this job… him presenting that dunk show was WACK… they couldn’t even get MJ to comment on no nothing. should’ve gotten shawn kemp haha oh and dwight is 6-10 but nat is 5-5 so who cares haha. the dunk contest was fresh although I though Dwight would do the free throw line dunk in short shorts and an afro wig to honor the doctor that would be FRESH. I hope next year as an international player walter hermann joins in if you havn’t seen him in a dunk contest go look it up on youtube hahahaha

  • riggs Posted: Feb.16 at 6:36 pm
here he comes with his stupidity…

  • Kevin Posted: Feb.16 at 7:25 pm
the dunk contest was wack. Shaq’s intro was probably the highlight to the entire weekend, gonna miss him when he’s gone for sure..

  • Gumdrop Posted: Feb.16 at 8:03 pm
You gotta calm down and stop trying to play sheriff Teddy.

  • CP34MVP Posted: Feb.16 at 8:42 pm
Yo If Anyone read RM’s thing. I think you should get the TShirt. And for the most part. Shaq was the all star game. I wanted to see him in that GEICO/HORSE thing. And Stop Hatin’ On Reggie Miller Fooz!

  • dfrance83 Posted: Feb.16 at 9:35 pm
Yeah that was Hero by Nas. Shaq is the muheffin man, what yall know about the big JabbaWackee! lol The dunk contest is going to continue to be wack, what else can be done that would truly amaze anyone who has been watching basketball for the last 10 years? Reggie’s voice is really annoying, he sounds like he’s going through puberty. Kenny always try to say some mind blowing stuff and comes off sounding like an idiot, but he works well with Ernie and Chuck.

  • chintao Posted: Feb.16 at 10:30 pm
I hate Shaq, but I have to admit that Big Man was groovin’ up there.

  • Nashty Posted: Feb.16 at 11:51 pm
    Please Shaq…..don’t ever retire……

  • knick Posted: Feb.17 at 10:27 am
    legendary

  • Spyder D Posted: Feb.17 at 11:05 am
Shaq is still valuable to the league, and any team he plays for. The dance was pure Shaq! It was the best thing about the All Star Weekend…to see him enjoy himself. He deserves it. Say what you want about him, but he is one of the best all time. Period.

  • albie1kenobi Posted: Feb.17 at 2:18 pm
Reggie Miller has some genius remarks like “i’m glad that put their differences together” when kobe and shaq “won” the co-mvp.
kenny smith is a great studio analyst, but he’s not very good live. if you pay attention to his prediction for 3 point contest, no one would win. the comments on the 3 finalists are:
Kapono – “he’s not great enough of a shooter to win 3 in a row”
Lewis – “his shot doesn’t have a follow through, so he can’t win the title”
Cook – “he’s too new in the contest and will not do well in the contest. it’ll be the biggest upset in history. there’s no way he’ll win”
and for Teddy who thinks ESPN are all lames (which i would agree most of the time), i have two names for you: Mark Jackson and JVG.
