Video: Grant Hill Goes Back In Time

Driving back to ’97.

With Grant Hill’s legs being almost completely bionic at this point, it’s a surprise that we haven’t seen him use his rocket boosters much this season. Grant got robotic (Transformers style) on young Joakim Noah, the Bulls’ version of Yao Ming.

If Grant Hill keeps playing like that, the Suns might have a chance…. No, sorry, they still don’t have a chance, but that was fun to watch anyways.

That was kind of cheating, he used his smarts to get him off balance, and then bam! I can’t complain though, is good to have Grant Hill back. Robert Horry stuff right to the (non) celebration.

This takes on better meaning since it was on Noah.

how in the dickens did he do that?

  • http://www.lkz.ch Darksaber

More like Darwin, BET. reverse-engineered evolution kinda stuff going on there with Grant.

When this happened on saturday, regardless of the result of the game, when Grant took off and not just dunked, but slammed it down (check the rim angle when he throws down), i screamed like a little girl for like 2.7 seconds. Astounding. I can watch this over and over.

Just so that you remember how things should be

Grant Hill is THE story of triumph over haters and doubters. I dig it when dudes get a fierce dunk, I pump my fist and whatever, but when Grant dunks now, I just get warm all over. Hell yeah.

I simply love this dunk. Nuff’ said.

in the plays of the day the other day at nba.com did anyone else catch grant hills mean steal and finish on the break. he snatched some guys jump shot from his hands before he released and took off down court for the lay up. hes sure not playing like a man with no knees

  • Tommy Patron

Best possible use of Joakim Noah.

Grant Hill is back to being a dunking fiend. Dubya is languishing in Dallas. All is good in the world (well, notwithstanding the whole economic recession thingy, and Ahminadinnerjacket demanding america pull troops out of all foreign countries etc. etc.)

Nice play! Whats up with the suns staff? Do they have the fortune of youth?

  • rikson

    *fountaine of youth (too early)

  • whooo!

the phoenix training staff must’ve sacrificed somebody’s soul for these secrets… steve nash’s health, amare’s rehab, grant hill injury free, SHAQ resurging… might as well get this crew working on curing alzheimers and arthritis while we’re at it.

damn, i’ve been waiting 3 days for you guys this up!!! grant hill – i still love his game. where is the jarret johnson dunk from a week ago? that one was amazing.

  • http://www.lkz.ch Darksaber

dont forget Manu’s lefty spike on that Hornet

  • OneStep

Unfortunately, he’ll be icing his knees until the All-Star break now. I hope he doesn’t have to climb any stairs at home because he’s going to be crippled for a while. That perhaps was a frustration dunk; fed up of making lay-ups trying to keep his knees and physio happy. Glad he tried it though. The next one should be due in 2011.
