Slamadaday: Will Bynum on Daviin Davis

Meet the Will Bynum… from New Mexico.

During yesterday’s beat down of the the No. 1-seeded WSU Wildcats, Montana State had a lot to get loud about.

But the loudest moment of night came in the team’s motel outside of Ogden, UT when Sports Center called this its top play. The game wasn’t even as close as its final score of 70-61, as junior guard Will Bynum swung the momentum in MSU’s favor in the final moments of the first half when he handed this thunderous dunk to Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year Daviin Davis. Bynum finished off the whuppin’ whuppin’ with a scream in Davis’ face, which garnered a technical. But it had to be there as icing on the cake.

You can check out Bynum and the No. 6 Bobcats as they fight for a Tourney birth in the Big Sky Championship tonight on ESPN2 at 9:30 ET.

That was ridiculous. You don’t see dunks that ferocious very often.

lol in slow motion it looks so easy to block. dude just didn’t have his timing right.

My man was about 1/6th of a second away from blocking that. But he didn’t. That is the definition of what a Slamadamonth/day/whatever should be.

And that photo is AMAZING. It was always shocking how many great NBA dunks — especially considering how many pro photogs are in NBA gyms, compared to the f’ing Big Sky conference tournament — never resulted in a good photo.

    that is awesome

I second Ryan’s call about the photo–it truly is an amazing pic (although, I would have loved it more if you could see Bynum’s face… maybe). Oh, and the dunk is pretty sweat too.

not just a dunk, but a c0ck-back in his mouf
    I just love da scream after…hype sh!t

  • Thomas

why am i not seeing this great picture that is being talked about, all i see is the vid?

  • Stu

Very Nice, at least the kid tried to block it instead of this, pulling out of the block business of just jumping and not putting your hand up going for the block. Less shame in being posterised that being a pu**y and not challenging.

yea, where’s the pic? good effort on trying to block it, but damn. talk about high risk high reward.

He’d been blocking shots all game so I guess he’d try to block the get back and got jacked himself.

    Reminds me of Latrell Spreewell.
