Video: Superman With The Flop?!

Strange things happen when Steel meets Steel.

Amidst all the Superman debate, Shaq and Dwight actually went at it yesterday in a very impressive match up. The elder center didn’t disappoint, matching Howard’s antics (even surpassing them at times), and showing what 12 more seasons of NBA experience really means. Oddly, with the game close in the third quarter, the Diesel showed that he added a new move to his repertoire by trying to get the offensive foul call on Dwight. Who knows, maybe Howard learned an effective post move and genuinely juked Shaq to the hardwood. Then again, maybe not.

is it just me or does shaq make Dwight look infant-like?

  • http://www.triplejunearthed.com/dacre Dacre

…INFANT-LIKE…?? Shaq has been in the league for 24 years…. plus dwight has a baby face. Greg Oden would make george mikan like infant like…rip legend-man.

Shaq should never fall to the floor due to contact from another player. It’s not even believable.

A flop all right. Dwight didn’t even bump him face-on, plus Shaq’s a lot heavier and stronger up top.

can’t wait for his explanation on this one

  • http://slamonline.com Melo&JR2daRaptors

@Dacre: i meant in size. Dwight makes everyone look so small but wen compared to shaq hes the small one

Shaq rips into Stan Van Gundy…he don’t stop!!
“And one thing I really despise is a frontrunner, so I know for a fact that he’s a master of panic, and when it gets time for his team to go in the postseason and do certain things, he will let them down because of his panic. I’ve been there before, I’ve played for him.”
O’Neal, who used the word “despise” at least a half dozen times, then repeated his comments for Miami and Phoenix print reporters who were late arriving to his pregame rant.
    hahahahaha

  • KozmicKid

    thats for hurtin his feelings…

  • Jackie Moon

Dwight Howard must have still had Kryptonite on him after Nate brushed him …

  • German Reignman

the best part of the video ?
Its taken from Raptors TV … late retaliation for the RuPaul Comment ?

  • Tuomas

Nothing much to add to what I said in Holly’s Post up. Shaq is a master of seriously flawed logic. Oh yeah, happy 37th birthday tomorrow Big Hypocrite.

  • http://hoops4life.com overtime

    its a travel either way

  • Tuomas

If we go by trivial things such as the rulebook, yeah. But if they miss the crab dribble, you can be damn sure they’re not blowing the whistle on this one.

  • Surreal

Funny how Shaq always hated the floppers like Vlade. That flop he made against Howard was the weakest flop I’ve ever seen! The refs are never gonna buy that one!

and Howard change his pivot foot…
But I guess that’s okay in the NBA

  • nicole

@German Reignman: It’s NBA TV being shown on Raptors TV. The commentators have nothing to do with the Raptors, but nice try

    Ahahahahahahaha
THE REAL SUPERMAN SONNED THE SHAQTUS.

  • chintao

Many people have claimed that Shaq’s footwork is better than D12′s, but Howard’s footwork looked pretty good on that move. I don’t think Shaq ever had that kind of precision.
