Slamadaday: Durrell Summers on Stanley Robinson

With slight flashbacks to Ager over Redick.

UConn recruits defensive-minded frontcourt talent — from Okafor to Thabeet. But these guys have a strong tendancy to find themselves the poor victims of the sickest slams. Many times.

Stanley Robinson needs to learn his damn lesson. And I’m pretty sure a couple of the guys on the MSU bench were having an actual orgy after that dunk.

I still think his put back is better than him getting caught on this one.

his putback dunk was better, and i dont give a damn i give him props for having a 56% chance of blocking that dunk, had he blocked it would the highlight have gone to him?

Ouch. But really, usually it’s Robinson slamming on other dudes.

That dunk was crazy. The fact that he got a piece made it that much better. Ford field was shaking.

You could tell Summers was going up about 17 feet before the basket-he slowed down and gathered.

I you look at the replay, Robinson actually blocked the dunk, the ball came out of Summer’s hand and fell through the net, then Summers just pulled the rim. In my book that is not a dunk because Summers did force the ball through the hoop.
