Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose x FreeDarko

Today adidas dropped two exclusive videos to celebrate Dwight and Derrick’s seasons. Adi partnered with highbrow hoops collective FreeDarko, which includes SLAM’s own Bethlehem Shoals, on an entirely new animated form highlighting both NBA stars. Using imaging that’s similar to their FreeDarko’s great book The Macrophenomenal Pro Basketball Almanac, these videos are…well, they’re pretty FreeDarko. (And check out Jurassic 5′s Charli 2Na as the voice on both vids.)

    Interesting. Although you might say Derrick Rose is looking like Super Mario with the nose and large eyebrows instead of his penciled in-looking thin ones. And Dwight like Eddie Winslow from Family Matters or something with that ‘stache. Good job all the same FreeDarko crew.
