We all knew LeBron was good, but the one knock, the one thing you could nit-pick, if anything, was that he hadn’t hit a game-winner in a big game.

unbelievable…lebron james: where amazing happens
look at sager getting ready for the full out sprint to lebron at the 18 second mark
Thanks for the post, Lang. Amazing shot indeed, though I’m still shocked the Cavs needed these heroics to win the game. Mo Will and Co. need to step up!
M…V…muhf’n P. these playoffs have been terrific, and this series looks like it could be a classic.
If the Cavs win this series, that’s the greatest shot in the team’s history. They were dead going into Orlando.
And may I say, nothing against Bob Costas, but GOD did I miss Marv during Jordan’s last years.
Around the :41 second mark, look at SVG’s face. “Wow, that was even better than Rashard’s game-winner.”
my throat still hurts from screaming after that shot, ALL HAIL KING JAMES!!!!!!!!
the best ever since the best ever! 2-3!
like the homie 2-3/ jordan or james/ dont matter which one we ballin the same
“Samuel said to all the people, ‘You see him whom Yahweh has chosen, that there is none like him among all the people?’ All the people shouted, and said, ” Long live the king!”
That just happened.
look the last comment i posted, watch that video, the clock starts late.
review this ish and overturn it.
I was there, he didn’t make the shot, but the league paid everyone there to keep quiet and edited the video so it appears he made the shot
It’s not like “the King” needed to blow a 12 point lead going into halftime and a 6 point lead going into the fourth in order for that shot to happen. The real closer showed everyone how it’s done last night. He came BACK from losing by 8 heading into the fourth.
And Kevin Wilson, “If the Cavs win this series, that’s the greatest shot in the team’s history.” Wow, not saying much.
I still don’t understand why they didn’t foul him while he was shooting. LeBron is NOT making 3 clutch freethrows.
good job mikael helping deny the ball to lebron
Nate, it was really only at the most a .1 or .2 difference. Even if it started the exact moment LeBron touched the ball, it still would have counted.
could nate hate anymore?
this seems…so insignificant now
Pavlovic would be an awful defensive player in the NFL.
Amazing finish, good shot, poor defense. The amazing part was the time ticking down, the good part was that he hit it. It was pretty much a straight on 3 which wasn’t that difficult. Stopping him from getting an oop was good but the overall defensive sceme was really poor. No pressure on the passer and no one shading James from the outside of the 3 point line. Who wouldn’t want another Cav to have the ball and panic trying to get it to James who would have had to rush an off balanced 3 instead of a clean look 3.
I forgot to mention that James is still one bad dude with a ball…
FLUKE!!! the king without a ring will neer nail one again. Against the Lakers, Trevor would have swipped that ball away.
and the Magic are now up 2-1! Where amazing (translation: Fluke) does not happen two games in a row.
its those moments where players are made

what the hell was Rashard lewis doin’?
I like LeBron and wants him to do well but I can’t help but to notice that he acts insecure in the clutch. This was truly a great shot. But it was still desperation and kind of “nothing to lose”. It was an extremely important game but no one could really have blamed him for missing a difficult shot like that.
