    I just think it’s silly how this was handled, on hindsight and in light of how pedestrian that dunk was. It’s not like Lebron got beat off the dribble or destroyed one-on-one. I don’t think the issue of whether he tried/jumped matters, either. He was the help defender, and he jumped, and got dunked on. Nothing in that tape shows that he was a bad defender or anything that is worth being ashamed of. Zo and Yao and Mutombo and Ewing get dunked on all the time too, but this detracts nothing from how good they are. Big bloody deal. Horrible PR move. It’s not like this was VC on Frederick effing Weis. Good grief.

    In college my teammates and I came up with these rules:

    If you jump and try to block it, you were dunked on.

    If you try and take a charge, and you get Liptoned (or Snappelled) you were dunked on

    If someone jumps over your back on a rebound tip dunk, you were dunked on

    If you are under 6’4″ and the player who dunks on you is 6’8″ and above it does not count because that person is supposed to do that.

    If you are over 6’4″ and get dunked on by anyone 6’7.9″ and below it counts.

    If you are over 6’8″ and get dunked on by anyone under 6’0″ you must leave the court.

    @Luv2ball- I like those rules. Whether LeBron was “trying hard” or not doesn’t matter because often times in the NBA, players are not giving their best effort defensively.

    WAY too much effort for too little of a deal. He got dunked on, but that was a “Yeah, you got me” dunk, not a “Damn I got dunked on dunk.” But because of the self-perpetuated hype, now it is. Congratulations.

    Finally its out!Thanks to the pressure from the fans and the haters.The dunk is like ok, not that amazing.If it would not have been consfiscated by LeBron or Nike, it probably would have not been that big of a deal.

    Y.A.W.N. In other news, last night in a packed Arena (around 8500 spectators), Kob’s threw 15 autographed B-Balls into the crowd after his clinic. Yours truly caught one with his left hand, while still filming with his right (a group of unlucky frenchies standing next to me fumbled the catch and tipped it to me.. a’int that a biatch?). My buddy back in Europe who adores Kobe is in for a nice X-Mas present.

    #1 this does NOT take away from LeBrons Beast of a game #2 Yes he got banged on #3 It looked like he tried to block it to me and got surprised #4 The dunk did NOT suck and if it were LeBron or whoever you like as a baller doing the same dunk you would say it was nasty (don’t lie) #5 I think it was more of Bron than Nike wanting the tape taken even though Bron played it cool after the dunk #6 Haters of Bron need to stop making this monumental and lovers of Bron need to just admit he got banged on and it was a nice dunk.     i give and take this kind of dunks each time i play, thought it was badder than this, there is no shame in takin a dunk lie this one ( rudy gay on scola is for my concern is truely humiliating), at least you try not to allow it.

    So now the real question is: why is his ego so fragile that a dunk and video THAT crappy would have to get pulled? God Lord, it’s shiiite no one will care 10 minutes later. What a let down (unlike the Erin Andrews vid – that is horrible and not a let down – she does squats nude to firm her heinie).
