Video: Welcome to the L, Jonny Flynn

Meet the personality behind the numbers.

Video produced and edited by Kurt Brungardt

When a rookie comes to the League, much emphasis is placed on numbers and stats: height, vertical jump, speed, wingspan, points, assists, rebounds per game. Of course, all of this is important.

But there’s another very important aspect to evaluating players, one the League made an effort to focus on this summer. “Welcome to the L” aims to get at the personality behind the numbers, so fans can get to know the player as person. It’s a chance for the player to express himself.

Meet Johnny Flynn.

Was this filmed before or after the draft? Either way, you gotta love the Jonny’s attitude. Good luck next year, Bread.

    “the” Jonny? Wake up, Brad.

    Before Brad.

Man this became my favorite college PG last year for a reason. He won’t be a superstar in Minny of the bat but he will put of good numbers and be a solid go to guy. I mean, they still have big AL right? play wit it.

Great job on the video. Bread might just be one of the coolest NBA nicknames ever. And I mean ACTUALLY cool, not like a “Betrayal Skull Dude”-type nickname.

  • TJ Posted: Jul.30 at 1:18 pm
Jonny Flynn will be 10 times better then Ricky Rubio in the NBA
