Video: NBA Top 100 Dunks 2008-2009

Top 10 lists? Ha!

We’re never satisfied with the official NBA Top 10 Dunk lists (even if they cheat with two different lists). If it’s not the order of the Top 10, it’s gonna be beef about how dunks got overlooked.

That ain’t happening this time, chaps. To all those Top 10 lists out there, we see your 10, and raise you 90. Some will disagree about the order — we know that’s part of the fun of making lists — but with 100 dunks to boot, no cram, not a single Slamadaday, was overlooked. Enjoy all 18 minutes and 25 seconds of flight.–Ed.

    This video makes me feel a little ashamed of myself, as I’m a Warrior’s fan and the Warriors account for half of the dunked on category. But that Westbrook one off the glass… NASTY!!!!!! Along with Wilson on Emeka, D-Wade on the Warrior’s frontcourt, KryptoNate’s putback and K-Mart’s one hand putback. Hollins on Varejoa was just hilarious.

    co-sign teddy 9:34!!!! TOO MUCH LBJ! his dunks were alright, but i am 100% sure there coulda been better stuff to replace a lot of them, cuz like he said, lebron juss slips by guys a lot to dunk it. if so, add more d-wade, who slips by guys with Lightning speed AND dunks with more style/grace

    Jermaine O’Neal just gets pwned in 8 of those dunks. Poor dude.
    Dahntay Jones, Westbrook and Mike Taylor are my favourite little dude dunkers, shame that MT got waived this morning though.
    Iggy had some sweet dunks though, but I reckon Marion should’ve been ahead of Vince’s dunk in the top 5 section.

    Nene and Birdman and Kmart killed everything. Oh, and no Shaq? His dunk over the Spurs on Christmas was dope?! I noticed no Rose dunk on LB either, that was a shame.
    Boozer on Pau/Odom was cray good too – that was straight power in the playoffs + it was for the tie/lead. And I HATE Boozer (so that’s a lot of props for him).
    Thank goodness Bron didn’t take up 5/10 top slots like in nba.com. That was just terrible.

    i still don’t believe how explosive Kenyon is after microfracture surgery on BOTH KNEE’S! Add that to Nene’s own knee problems, JR Smith’s impossible hops and Dahntay Jones impressive dunks off the two leg plant, Birdman grabbing every tipdunk and blocking shots (yeah, yeah, Melo too) and last year’s Nuggs had the best leaper’s on them!! Wow.

    Sick list, was great fun watching it. Now, where’s the top 100 plays of ’08-09 (no dunks included). Or am I being too greedy now? C’mon Slam, it’s the off-season. You guys got nothing better to do than wait for a dwindling number of free agents to get signed.
