Sounds like it was after the horn. If not a preseason game Utah would have been all over the refs.

    • [...] last night… he was to be the hero. As Byars missed, the seconds ticked down. Johnson rebounded, faded away with 0.1 over Kirilenko’s long arms, back-pedaled and beat the odds and the buzzer. Johnson won the game and the attention of the true [...]

Yeah D-Rose hit that buzzer beater. And as I can recall alot of people here were upset at his spot on the top 50. Still upset about it? Lol.

This was probably the best outcome 4 British Basketball, its seemed to have gained abot 25,000 fans overnight

    • Josh D Posted: Oct.7 at 3:59 pm
By the way James Johnson hit that shot, not Derrick Rose

David Stern is somewhere Giddy like a school girl. This is the best thing that can happen to the league trying to market overseas game: a nail biter at the buzzer. Cha-CHing

I’m seriously impressed by Johnson. People were comparing him to Tyrus Thomas but I see significant differences. Johnson is more perimeter oriented and simply can shoot! His handle is pretty nice as well.
Nice shot James, keep that up and your Bulls will be in the playoffs.

Johnson also had that buzzer-beater over Duke when he played for Wake Forest. I’m really excited to see James Johnson play. If he gave it his all 100% of the time, dude would’ve easily been a top 10 pick, maybe even top 5. Hope someone can light a fire under his ass in the L. It’s probably asking too much for Vinny Del “Negro, please!” to be that someone….

Hope Byars, Richard and all them cats enjoyed their time in London but I doubt they’ll be in Chicago much longer.
