Video: Wilkins Sinks Nets at the Buzzer

New Jersey had an absolute meltdown in the fourth quarter last night. Damien Wilkins and the T-Wolves were happy to put them out of their misery:

I watched that game on League Pass last night (mediocre quality) and the first 3 quarters as a Nets fan made me happy Brook Lopez won the L.O.N. for sure (yes, over LeBron). Terrence Williams, besides the turnovers, had a nice debut. The Nets reminded me of the ’07 Warriors in some ways. Running and pushing the ball. Al Jefferson was a non-factor, and then that 4th quarter started. Nets had a 15 point lead, and it all vanished. Man man man I was pissed. Damien Wilkins made a nice shot after a scramble, gotta hand it to him. Flynn looked good too, slippery dude.

Am I the only one that thinks this was a travel? Doesn’t look like he dribbled before he moved his feet.

@Russ — Yea, it was a definite travel but it’s hard to call it with less than a second left in that type of situation.

  • Bizz

Oh my … now you mention it … what a travel!
So if they review it, they can’t call the travel, or can they?

  • KROD

    FREE DAMIEN WILKINS!!!!

  • Paul

So it wasn’t just me who noticed it was a travel.

The sad thing is the refs reviewed before allocating the point to Minny. It’s sad how NBA reffing is incompetent

Who’s the stooge in the suit that comes over and grabs him after the shot?
