Video: Finish To Remember – Heat at Lakers

Funny, we begin our ‘Decade’s Best‘ awards with a very similar looking shot by former Laker Robert Horry. Who says Lakers fans aren’t spoiled?

Wow… looks like it was a gr8 game to watch. With a seriously entertaining finish.

This was a fun game to watch. BUTTT. I call bullsh***T. Your telling me that kobe “buzzer Beater” wipes away the other air balls that he shot to lose against Miami? If thats the case then its kind of sad how a lot of you switch sides so fast. I enjoyed the game and that shot sucked the life away from me, but to say its one of the best buzzer beaters ever and to forget the other airball he shot last year is ridiculous.

I have missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games … And that is why I succeed.

  • LA Huey Posted: Dec.7 at 2:09 pm
that was a great game. so happy i skipped bulls/cavs instead.

Why put quotes around buzzer beater? That’s exactly what it was. It’s amazing how many people still hate Kobe no matter what he does. You’ll appreciate the man when he’s gone.

  • freezy23 Posted: Dec.7 at 3:17 pm

That compilation gave me goosebumps lol. When this man retires people are going to be doing him like they do all despised and scrutinized players. Missing his presence on the floor and wishing he were still playing, because they were so busy focusing on his negatives and didn’t enjoy the greatness or positive he brought to the game. Typical Basketball culture.

sick shot but flash still be THE main man fo me

  • angelino Posted: Dec.7 at 5:40 pm
Hey I’m a Heat fan, and I thought it was a great shot. It made me feel like sh#t tho.

  • E Posted: Dec.7 at 6:42 pm
Is anyone surprised? I saw it coming once Flash choked on his 1st free-throw.

  • Anton Posted: Dec.7 at 6:45 pm
Fail, LeBron would have pulled his teammates to at least the foul line.

  • c spence run Posted: Dec.7 at 7:32 pm
Kobe or MJ? MJ wouldnt have banked it….MJ.

  • The Seed Posted: Dec.7 at 10:17 pm
Great shot, great defense, but like my man Mark Jackson says, I would rather have better offense than defense. Also if you watched the game, Wade needed picks to get by Kobe, when Kobe would just look him in his eyes and do what ever. Funny, but then people would say Kobe is not a top defender, but when one of the quickest guards in the league need picks to get by Kobe to score. That tells you all. KOBE IS MVP!!!! not tebow-nash or high school musical dance teacher-lebron-HE is becoming a joke, Dancing on the sidelines, IF you got to watch PTI today. Tony and MIke blasted the so called King for his dance routines.

great but not the best. i’m no kobe fan but this wasn’t his best shot ever.

  • Jonathan Posted: Dec.8 at 7:03 am
Lebron couldn’t even hit that shot in his dreams.

  • J Posted: Dec.8 at 7:24 am
    ^ uhh.. game two ECF?

  • Geo Posted: Dec.8 at 11:15 am
Im a heat fan and D-Wade is my favorite player but i gotta give it to Kobe 1. Kobe
    2. Lebron
    3. D-Wade

  • 360vue Posted: Dec.8 at 2:54 pm
@J Both shots were buzzer-beaters and from down town, but the similarities in shots stop right

  • TheMagician10 Posted: Dec.8 at 2:54 pm
Amazing game, miraculous finish. But, LA shouldn’t have been in that position. They went away from going inside where they basically have an advantage over every team. They will find themselves in trouble if they forget to go into the post, that’s when they get in a slump offensively for 5-7 minutes, which can lose a game.

  • Flight Posted: Dec.8 at 4:44 pm
Great win by Kobe and the lakers, but why does a regular season buzzer beater get THIS much attention?

  • Shem Posted: Dec.8 at 5:24 pm
REALLY? he just hit the buzzer beater of the decade.. yeah i said it and you guys are taking it away from him. Hate him if you want, you all better respect him

  • J.L. Prince Posted: Dec.14 at 11:49 pm
Yoooooooooo! That’s my favorite shot! Ain’t no one going to stop that shot never again. 2004 to 2008 it was ok, but NOW! Its over kid. I’m put money on that. Anyone can chanellge me on that. Anyone? I thought so…I’m to nice in ball playa! Anyone? Anyone? Lol.

  • toine Posted: Dec.17 at 3:09 pm
The man puts up an amazing shot and people still have to hate. Haters will hate on anything, that’s what they do best, I shouldn’t be suprised by this fact.
