Slamadaday: Amar’e Stoudemire on Richard Jefferson

The Spurs may have won the game over the Suns, but Richard Jefferson probably didn’t walk off the court with his head held very high:

i personally liked j richs better, but this was filthy

all it’s missing is the Marbury-face after the fact. maybe Phoenix should sign Starbury so he can make that face every time Amare craps all over someone.

  • andre anglais

Its a nice dunk and all, but its not like RJ is a shot blocker – how does “Mr Fundamental” make that switch, anyway? Props to RJ for coming from the far corner (he saw that coming a mile away, too – personally, I see Amare with that much lane, I step back and watch) and at least trying.

  • jim

    that was nasty!!!

amare is back baby! good luck in playoffs!

Nash is nice, but who else is finishing that move like that in the League?
Most big men can’t make the catch, body adjustment and finish needed to turn that into an automatic deuce.
    Amare is special on offense.

    cosign the d train

it’s funny that this game had the slammadamonth AND the anti-slammadamonth (the INEXPLICABLE missed dunk from j-rich!)

this was straigh up filthy for sure, but props to RJ for trying to stop an easy basket in crunch time!

  • tbizzle!

if you look at manu, he’s playing it off like he’s wiping sweat from his brow, but really his saying into his jersey, “damn rj, did it look as nasty as it felt?!”

  • tbizzle!

    *he’s

  • T-Money

i have a very profound dislike for rj but i gotta give him props for challenging the shot. perhaps it would have been smarter to just take the foul, tho.

  • Rob

@andre anglais true. I wanna see him doing that on Dwight. Big guys dunking over smaller guys suck.

  • rashado

i remember the first time i saw stoudemire play i had the marbury look on my face. dude is just straight up nasty the way he punishes whoever checks him on D

    cosign D train :D

  • J.even

    uhhhh…poster!

  • Donovan

Nice dunk but that was a terrible switch by the T-bot. He owes rj an apology for that. Duncan deserves an assist.
