Slamadaday: Joe Jackson on Tarik Black

As with most high school footage, the angle doesn’t do the dunk justice. But still, the electricity after 5-11 Joe Jackson’s dunk on 6-8 Tariq Black (both 2010 Memphis Tiger commits) is palpable. Jackson later made the two go-ahead free throws in White Station’s 71-70 win over Ridgeway. Jackson’s Spartans advance to tomorrow’s region final as they continue to defend their Tennessee Class AAA state crown. (H/T Memphis Roar)

    It’s funny, because not only are they in college for 3-4 years together, but they also played AAU for the same team, the Memphis Magic.
