Video: Dan Gadzuric Ties Shoe for a Long Time

Here’s one of the strangest, funniest, most ridiculous things you’ll ever see on a basketball court. Frankly, I’m shocked that Scott Skiles didn’t murder Gadzuric in cold blood during the timeout:

Wow. Kevin Durant should give him lessons on how to play without your shoe. I mean…it isnt like Artest threw it off the court like when Ariza lost his. My favorite part is when Ridnour looks back like WTF! what are you doing!

  • TyMo

    Scott Skiles swears a lot

  • Randy Brown

And the Bucks still almost scored on a 4 on 5. That’s the Bulls. Still, at least they tried to trap this time, not like Luol did before

I don’t even know how this guy is in the league lol.

  • larrylegend

    LOL @ “That’s Bullshit, man!”

It only looks like he’s taking his time. His foot had come out of the shoe, so he first had to get it back in and then tie his shoelaces. That can take some time.

Dude’s been in the league EIGHT YEARS, all with the Bucks. I actually think he may have played with Lew Alcindor.

makes me proud to be dutch.

Another shoe tying incident. Strange things have happened in the United Center this season.

Maybe he thinks that if he takes long enough. It will give Bogut and Redd time to heal for the playoffs..

Gadzuric can’t even fill his own shoes let alone those of Rik Smits

    Amen, Hisham

Not bad for big man kicks. Hup holland. Btw it could’ve been a lot worse like switching lanes with a gold medal at stake. Take it easy on dude. Little skiles wouldn’t want an old fashioned Dutch a$$-whupping. The rest of the world should consider themselves lucky that we’re only 15 million deep.

lol @ryan, laughed out loud in class when reading that comment,

17 seconds isn’t that long to unlace your shoe, put your foot back in the shoe, then tie them again.

How is he still in the league?

  • Geoffrey DJ

Dan and Francisco Elson are both Dutch guys, but I see them rarely on the court! Come on, and when they finally get some action, they don’t have anything better to do than tying their shoes?! WTF?
Makes me ashamed too, as a guy from Amsterdam, Holland… :(

O well, at least Francisco got a ring with the Spurs!

    ___
It is if you only have possession of the ball for 24 seconds at a time.

Did ANYONE ELSE see the Brad Miller/Luke Ridnour moving screen/tie-up during the first 8 seconds of that clip?? THAT was the funny part… That Brad Miller is a douche.

  • Toni Kukoc

    Jarred Jack still wins

Hisham, you’re nasty. I laughed a lot at that one.

  • http://www.another48minutes.com Gerard Himself

    haha Dutch Rich.

LOL @ Brad Miller more than anything else. First with the “screen” on Ridnour, then at .12 when Stackhouse fakes a pass, he puts his hands up, but it looks like “wtf man? Where is the 5th Bucks player?”. Then he decides to go and find Gadzuric… on the other side of the court, then bumbles over like a (lumbering) butterfly to double up on Ridnour.
The man LITERALLY does not get past a jog, and has to use his arms as propellors to change direction.

Why didn’t they call a 20 second timeout? If he doesn’t stop to tie his shoe and takes it off, how long would they play with him wearing only one shoe? The point-guard/coach are at fault here.
