Video: Refs Rob Kevin Durant at the Buzzer

by Marcel Mutoni / @marcel_mutoni

Last night, the Utah Jazz and OKC Thunder played in one of the most exciting games of the season, with Kevin Durant and Deron Williams — and Jeff Green; I see you — hitting absurd shots down the stretch (and during the entire game, really) in a desperate attempt to get the W.

Sadly, things came down to a terrible no-call as time expired in overtime, with KD getting visibly fouled on a game-winning three-point attempt.

Though upset, Durant took things in stride following the game. However, the homerific Thunder announcers did not, as they went a little too far in describing the incident: “That, is a TRAGIC non-call!”:

Although it was an obvious foul that should’ve been called, KD summed it up best… It’s only a foul if they blow the whistle, and call it!

It was obviously a foul….someone was right, playoff mode coming….rules change…the “Stern Rules”…I was impressed thouugh, Durant has looked like he’s worked o his body, he’s going to be unstoppable, even more than he is now…
