The US might actually “make it OUTSIDE” the group stage but they wont make it past the group stage. Awesome, awesome, awesome commercial. Oh and its the wrong color on the Lakers jersey, its more yellow, its not gold. Its different, they messed it up.

  Oh my gawd, i’m diving in Malaysia and saw Lang pushing hard for this ad on Twitter. Finally got enough bandwidth to see it at the hotel, awesome. My buddies keep asking me why i’m addicted to the swoosh, well such ads are part of it. Rooney KILLING Federer at ping pong (while wearing suits) was freaking hilarious. Kobe doing Ronaldo’s samba-ronics…meh. Shoulda used Nash, he’s got soccer skills. Fantastic ad. Only downer (and i’m sure Nike is pissed cause of it); Ribery being so prominent in the ad, now that his name’s being dragfed into the gutter, LT-style, back in europe. Otherwise, Aces. PS: GO SUPER EAGLES (you too, Bayern, pls find a way to kick Mourinho’s butt tomorrow)

  Why is Kobe Bryant in the commercial? I can see Gael Garcia Bernal in it because he would play C Ronaldo in a movie and Ronaldinho is a great player despite not being on Brazil’s squad. Why isn’t Messi in it, since he could be the best player in the world.

  If anyone is wondering why the jerseys of say France and Italy and Cote d’Ivoire are wrong, it’s becasue they’re sponsored by Puma/Adidas and can’t be placed on the Nike ad. Surprisingly Rooney is filimed wearing England’s Umbro kit and Rio isn’t.
