Slamadaday: Jordan Farmar on Kevin Garnett

Many unexpected things have occurred during these NBA Finals, and even though KG isn’t what he used to be, this may very well take the cake:

    Shannon Brown’s alley was cool..but we’ve seen him do those kind of things before.. for Jordan Farmer(lil big man) to dunk on the former MVP/Defensive Player of the Year like that…WOW!! Slammadamonth Nominee if the Lakers win the title!!

    Not hating just didnt dunk on KG, he just beat him to the rim and barely got up…….just wasn’t all that impressed…….but shannon cmon son that ish right there

    KG attempted to block Farmer’s dunk..he didn’t..hence he got dunked on.. PLAIN AND SIMPLE

    this was more of dunk-on than when Baron Davis “dunked on” KG back in the day..but everybody was saying he got all up in KG’s grill when KG didn’t even stick his hand out..

    He stuck his hand out against JFarmer..and Farmer got “all up in his grill” and even MEAN MUGGED him afterwards…classic Finals dunk in my opinion..

    Baron’s dunk may have been better,but Jordan Farmer dunks as rare as Michael Jordan showing up to a Blackhawks game..once in a blue moon..so when he dunks period..its cool..when he dunks on someone..EVEN COOLER..SLAM online know what they are doing,besides..Shannon brown has been Slamadaday many times..even for a missed dunk!! it aint no fun unless the homies/teammates can have some love!!

    look at the still from the video. KG’s big toe is barely in the picture and Farmer is aleady starting to leap. Couple that with that fact that KG is aging per minute these days this is less than impressive. This is SLAM of the day, not Sorta Kinda Dunked on Somebody of the day. Put a two dunk Shannon Brown montage up here and stop playing!

    Nothing special about this dunk at all. Anyone who can dunk could have done it. I guess it looks a litte better because KG is trailing but it isnt like he dunked ON KG is it? Shannon’s oop was far more impressive.

    KG absolutely got dunked on. Farmar kinda beat him to the spot instead of sh!tting all over him though, he didn’t get much lift in his dunk. Still, that’s a facial because KG went for the block.

    and for the blind..there are 3 pics that shows KG getting dunked on..regardless if Farmar got a two steps on him..if that aint getting dunked on then Aunt Jemima ain’t black!!

    if Lebron didn’t dunk on Garnett then why was it shown on TV highlights 47times during & 1000 times after the game,and eventually became Slamadamonth.. and KG didn’t even jump for the block!! as for Farmar,he stuck his hand in the cookie jar and got caught.. ps.     This is why LeBron only blocks from behind. Just in case the guy dunks, it doesn’t count as getting dunked on.

    HAHA good one LD. Read the headline, “Jordan Farmar on Kevin Garnett.” Only a Laker can dunk on someone and find trolls trying to dispute the angles and validity of said dunk. @Ciroq, that’s interesting, what’s your methodology in coming up with that “90%”?

    you go to block somebody and he still dunks it, thats called being dunked on regardless if youre in front behind, on the side, below, on top. the only way players avoid that is to block it or not go after the block at all and stay out of the picture. and all you kg fans know he aint ever backing down like that esp against jordan farmar in the finals.

    Seriously, the reporters should be asking these questions during post game interviews. “Did that count as getting dunked on? I need to know so I don’t post the wrong information and get thousands of complaint emails.”

    If you honestly consider that to be dunking on someone, then that says a lot about your basketball background. Probably says all anyone needs to know.

    all i can say is this..if KG miraculously blocked that dunk..then what..same goes for Lebron if he didn’t get all arm on Jason Richardson,he would have gotten dunked on 360style.. if you go for the block,and block it..its a block.. if you go for a block,and miss,then you get dunked on..period..if KG didn’t go for the block then he’d been good..but he got greedy and paid for it..

    Can’t stand when sites give these easy buckets attention as posters or in your face dunks from game one to the Finals when really it’s a fast break that Farmar has no excuse to at least lay it up. Lakers fan here but a few years back thats a Garnett block. It’s widely noted that if you keep Garnett havin to hustle up & down court you got him heavy breathin.
