Slamadaday: Kevin Bailey @ adidas Super 64

Kevin Bailey put his name on the national radar this week at the adidas Super 64. As the Hardwood Elite video will prove, this 6-5 wing from Clovis East (CA) High School showed his aptitude as a mid-range and at-the-rim specialist. Don’t get us wrong, he’s more than an athletic terror. Bailey has thus far displayed an arsenal that includes deep jumpers, offensive glasswork, excellent handles and a quick first step. This young member of the Class of 2011 should see a lot of schools throwing their names into the mix.

Nah not impressed. The defender needs to pick a point at the rim and defend that. This kid tried to block the ball to far away. Very hard to judge at top speed.

I like the fact he did not scream or stare after the dunk, like so many NBA players still do
