Video: First Look At the LeBron VIII’s

The NBA season’s only a month away. Know what that means? It means we’ll finally see how Free Agency 2010 impacted franchises. Know what else it means? New kicks will be hitting stores soon.

With the tagline “Transformation is Unstoppable,” Nike (via YouTube) previews LeBron James’ new kicks, the LeBron 8′s, which will be fully unveiled on September 30.

..not great looking..6′s were still the best looking. anyone else notice every shoe was in the Heat colorway?

They cool but why do I get the feeling that nike’s designers suck compared to the 80s/90s designers.

In terms of design and looks the VII’s are better (best actually in the Lebron line). The VIII somehow looks heavier. Though the VIII’s design is starting to grow on me specially that China edition white-red.

I’m not a big fan of the Lebron line, but the Lebron 4′s defintely caught my eye when they first came out. I definitely slept on them.

They are still using 23 in his LBJ logo? Nike didnt get the memo that he changed his number to 6?!

He gets some ugly ass shoes made for him.

My two cents: The VI’s were awesome to look at, and the IV’s awesome to play in.

the I’s and II’s are the best ones, 3′s and 4′s are nice looking, but after that dont really like brons shoes

I’ve never sported a LBJ b4 but the V, VI and VII (low with no Air that he rocked during the playoffs are cool) will defenitely but the VIII if they look good.

Holy sizzle this shoe is the best thing since the crab dribble

I don’t know man, it seemed like with the VII LeBron finally had a classic, and that it would go up from there. But the VIII feels like a step back. It’s like some bizarro knock-off of the VII. Maybe it’ll grow on me though…

Zoom generations or the I’s were by far the best looking and most innovative

Soldier III’s are one of the best around. Good looks, very supportive, very comfortable and good traction.

@ Ben- agreed. the only knock on the IV is the weight, which is common from the III-V. But in terms of support and fit damn, definitely one of the best I’ve tried.

    The 6 is my favorite

Soldier III’s and Lebron VII’s were the best to play in. VI’s were the best to rock with jeans.

    They all stink…..

Air Zoom Generation and LeBron II were the best IMO. :D

I really like the II’s, the asian design etc. The IV’s are ugly as heck.
