Video: Lakers Get Their Championship Rings

Last night in LA was all about celebrating (prior to gutting out a tough win against the Rockets), as the defending back-to-back world champs put on an original, and moving tribute to their title from last season:

    LMAO Markou Urjavordi.

I heard some people thought this was corny… they’re just hating. This was an awesome ceremony and really outdid what they did last year.

Lakers went from one of my least favorite teams to kinda wishing they come out at top in West, and if it comes down to Heat in the Finals, beat them for the threepeat. Cheers Pau, Kobe & Co., here’s to you having another great season!

@Remo I did think this was corny and a little drawn out to be done before a game. The introduction style was interesting, but something I think better suited for a team rally, or end of a parade.

I really don’t get the whole idea of teams getting their rings before the first game anyway.

And I’m no Laker hater. They were the best team last year and earned those rings, but the ring ceremony, not just for LA but every championship team, should be done separately and not before a game.

I’m not a hater but didn’t the World Champions (that’s what it says on the banners) beat by the Euroleague champs?
