Slamadaday 2.0: Blake Griffin on Anthony Tolliver

Sure, one Slamadaday is nice, but how about two? Blake‘s looking like the young Amar’e Stoudemire.

If you’re that far under the basket, why jump?

^Don’t you have some kids to take care of. Also, BGriff is no Amare because amare can’t rebound to save his life.

  • Drew

The ROY continues his hulk-like destruction of opponents

What kabelion said. and i hope Griffin is NOT the next amare because he looks like he can actually rebound the ball.

LOL Riggs, I’m now imagining Anthony Tolliver shouting at Griff mid-air: “No Blake! It’s not too late! I still sense some good in you!”

Griffin: “Congratulations on the wedding tolliver, posters make for great decorations around the house”

Tolliver: “ahdkhkjenerkn” (inaudible due to ball stuck in mouth)

the only one that makes me wanna watch the Clips

  • Sparker

yeah, yeah, i saw the clips play the warriors two weeks ago, and blake won’t be scaring anyone for some time. he looks lost out there, has no handle, can’t shoot, can’t pass and has no court sense to speak of. his go-to move is to post up, command the ball, back up his man… then do something really awkward/lose the ball. and this was against the warriors, who i like but are a few pieces short of being a top team. the worst part is that the whole offense is keyed around fuzz head… and he just doesn’t know what to do out there. so guys like baron and kaman are barely interested and the team is already tuning out (the terminally flustered) vinny. i know it’s early, and it’s only one game, but man oh man there were few good signs

  • Sparker

ha ha and i wrote this without realizing they’re 1-12… which i just read in the post up. blake griffin, not a franchise, no matter how many times they show his biceps on nba dot com

@Sparker, no need to hate on Ginger Baller. Sure, he’s only a posterizer right now and has a LOOOONG way to go but let him get his shine in the SLAMADADAY.

btw, my Dubs will put the clamps down on any aspiring young’n. =P

  • Cizzo

Yall can’t hate Blake all yall wan’t now but in this modern day NBA he will prevail, he works deligently at getting better and has improved dramaticly… andhe’ll put anyone of you guys favorite players off in the rim effortlessly, no pump fakes….

  • JL

he IS a rookie…these things will come. and he definitely has the ability to be a good passer…and i’ve seen him take the ball up on the break and handle it pretty well. he shows flashes, but he still has a long way to go. no reason to say he has nothing, because i’ve seen flashes of all of the things you said he can’t do.
