South Park ain’t got nothing on still-angry (but creative!) folks from Cleveland:

Get over it you selfish Ohioans, if you ever were a fan of LBJ you would be cheering him on now. The city of Cleveland is the true “quitter”.

  • Loaf

that qoute “i will bring a championship to cleveland, i wont quit till i do”

    oooooooooooooooooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

    LOL

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Ha ha. Fu*king losers. Your city and your team will always suck. And when you ask the question “yeah, Lebron, what SHOULD we do”? The answer should be quite simple. Get the f*ck over it, crybabies. Enjoy your sh*tty winter!

  • joc

WOW!That’s the commercial they need play every five minutes!lol

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

This kinda sucked, and not just because I think they should get over it.
Well, the dude with the ax was kinda funny, and scary too.
    Ah well.

  • mikee

    Someone’s bitter. lol

  • http://screwjams.tumblr.com cramzy

does anybody else see this actually helping Lebron? “get over it cleveland” is about to be the new “eff Lebron”…

  • T-Money

The idea that a basketball player (ANY basketball player) could have this effect on a city is pretty sad. Clevelanders, you’re better than that – Bron just plays hoops, it’s not that serious.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Eboy, believe it or not, some of us would rather have sh*tty winters, icy roads, layers upon layers of clothing over hot sun, women in bikinis and…ok, not working. Was trying to convince myself. SICK of this Alaskan winter already…FML

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

In 5 years, if Bron leaves Miami, I’ll be glad to say we used the dudes abilities to get a couple of rings. No hard feelings. I’m expecting it. Cleveland fans should be thankful that for the decade of the 2000′s, the Cavs were relevant again…..because of one guy.

  • JD

this is actually quite well made(over) lol, Nevetheless… it just made the people who’ve made this more pathetic

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Alaska is cooler than Cleveland. Fact.

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

    This was actually pretty funny…

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Surprising that Mr. Crawford found it funny. *sarcasm ensues*

  • ENDS

All of y’all are idiots. You know if your franchise player left your squad and doomed them to obscurity like LeBum did to the Cleave, y’all would be mad as hell to. I repected Eboy more when all he used to say was I know my team sux, and Im not waisting my time with the heat this season. even the Die hards are band wagoners.

  • ENDS

If they wanna be pissed, let em be pissed. they should be happy for bron? gthoh

I remeber when Shaq did the same thing to us Cleveland. I was a lil kid and cried my eyes out cause I knew he was never coming back. Cry, hate, burn, and be bitter all you want. its your right

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    ENDS…read my 1:25p comment.

  • ENDS

what did the cavs get out of knowing Lebron? they were cool for a min. and with the snap of a finger they’re not anymore. Do you see why cavs fans are hurting

  • ENDS

Now that commercial was really well done. Could have sworn Nike made it.

  • tRay

Jesus can these people get over LeBron leaving. He’s one man that plays basketball that’s it!

  • T-Money

ENDS: not mad, disappointed. he was a FA, he had a choice. he didn’t backstab anybody, there was never any guarantee that he as staying. he had every opportunity to sign an extension well before july 1, 2010 and didn’t. / no one is arguing that they can’t hate or be bitter (burning things is too much though). it is also our right to say that they’re freaking losers. chuck: “with lebron gone, cleveland got back to being cleveland.”

  • ENDS

hotWhite if Dwyane would have done it exactly like LBJ did, admit it u wouldve ripped him for it. No questions

  • kos87

    Get over it already!
Your team enjoyed its best years with this guy,be thankful. He is a professional and above everything a free person and he can choose to play wherever he wants!Stop acting like a bitter ex..

  • hangtime Hec

There isn’t any rationality or loyalty in sports. Cleveland had every right to hate Lebron just as Lebron had the right to ditch them for greener pastures. Thats just how it works in sport and in life.

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 Jackie Moon

Did Lebron bring the Cavs a couple of rings?

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

ENDS…..somewhere in my tiny heart and brain, I was close to losing both of them when Dwyane had a decision to make between Chicago and the Heat 4 months ago. I was almost convinced of Dwyane leaving. But guess what? Even if he would have left, I’d still stand with my team….would have cursed Dwyane for a minute and then moved on. What else could I do? Stew over it for the rest of my life? He plays ball…..that’s it.

  • JTaylor21

F*CK Cleveland and now they can go back to rooting for the sorry a** teams they really deserve.

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 Jackie Moon

I agree with hangtime. If he could choose to leave, the cleave can choose to hate. Just the way it is. Stop trying to Critisize cavs fan for being upset

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 ENDS

I am not Jackie Moon. Damn you would think that Slam could afford to fix that glitch

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

That’s stupid talk by a Laker fan.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Myles Brown

Theres a certain irony in people whining about other people’s whining.

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 ENDSwing

and you know what E thats exactly what your supposed to do root for the Black and red, and [forget] everyone else. Im pretty sure Cavs fans go to work and come home to thier families and only comment about it when a camera is in thier face asking them about leBron.

  • feez22

@ENDS snap of a finger? cool for a min? wth he was there for 7 YEARS how is that a snap of a finger? thats 1/10 of many people’s life expectancies lol. secondly, cavs fans got RELEVANT BASKETBALL with lebron there. cavs haven’t been anything since the early 90s until lebron got there. 70% of the cavs fanbase was actually REBUILT with lebron going there. Yall got a finals appearence, 5 yrs of playoffs, a 2 time MVP and the best player the cavs EVER HAD and probably will ever have for the forseeable future. Thats what you got. Too bad the organization couldn’t pair him with another star (please don’t give me the mo williams antawn jamison garbage they had 2 chances to nab stars [amare in 2010, boozer in 04] and they blew it) Thirdly, i understand why cavs fans are hurt. another one bites the dust. I dunno though its prolly is a compounding hurt. Everybody leaves cleveland maybe yall are now realising that you will NEVER hold on to a star? And lastly, if yall were really family to lebron as this video says you would support him in whatever he does. Clearly not a family down in cleveland… or at best a horrible family with the papa bear dan gilbert torching his “son” nationally with a crazy letter. its a “business” until you realise that i guess yall will still keep b*tching.

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 ENDSwing

Let em Piss and moan all they want is all im saying. Y’all dont know what it feels like to have a player rip your heart out and set u back 15 years.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

I’ll also throw this out there too…..if there were Cavs fans throughout the country (outside of Ohio) and the rest of the world for the last 7 seasons……it was only because of one guy. Think about that.

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 ENDSwing

as soon as he snapped the fingers and left, feez read the whole comment next time

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

In other words….were they REALLY Cavs fans? ‘Cause for those of us with a pulse, we know that’s not the case. They were LEBRON fans. Pretty simple.

  • http://www.slamonline.com J

Eboy.. They should get over it. True. But should it be in just a snap? Not every fan is like you man. That doesn’t make them any lesser.. They’re bitter that’s it. And do you actually think people wont move on? C’mon if Dwayne did the EXACT same way, sure you’ll forgive but I’m sure you won’t forget. And for the CAVS, were talking about the CAVS! Cleveland! I think everyone knows history? So if something like Lebron happened, it will be burried to their hearts. What do we know, maybe not all Clevelanders is represented in that video.

  • JTaylor21

Jackie, we have every right to criticize them for pouting and b*tching till this day. Damn, how long has it been since he left that dreadful city and they are still holding grudges and creating fake commericals. GET OVER IT already and stop crying over spoiled milk. It’s not like he’s retired already, just turn on the tv and you can still watch him ball. That’s why I’m a fan of the players not teams because I hate the lakers but I’m still able to watch them because of Kobe, likewise with ORL and BOS; I hate those teams but I never miss any of their games because of the players.

  • Lionel

It’s funny to hear people attacking Cleveland for being whiners. First of all, if you put Lebron in any other city and have the situation from last summer play out exactly how it did, then (fill in the blank city) would have reacyed exactly as Cleveland has. Second, an overwhelming majority of the backlash (including parody videos) are not from Cleveland or Clevelanders. When Paul Rudd and Steve Carrell mock The Decision it’s funny, but when someone from Cleveland does it’s because they’re pathetic and bitter. Third of all, Clevelanders – while pissed (and deservedly so) – are mostly hurt that one of them did what he did. It wasn’t the leaving (we’re used to that), it was the way he left. Make no mistake, the city is embracing this Cavaliers team – understanding that it’s not a contender right now.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

J……if they loved Lebron that much, that hard, that intensely…..they should support dude regardless. End of story.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Oh…and if Dwyane would have left for the Bulls and brought a title there, I’d curse the Bulls, but I’d be happy for Dwyane. Not overjoyed because it’s not my squad, but he’s my dude, and I would have respected what he did for the Heat.

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 ENDSwing

Where their any Bulls fans after he (you who he is) retired. theres a flaw in that logic

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Not many outside of Illinois, ENDSwing.

  • http://www.slamonline.com J

If that’s how they want to get over then be it.. Or maybe the fact that they can already laugh/make fun in a LeBron related thing might show that they already did move on..

  • http://www.slamonline.com J

Eboy.. There are different kinds of people..

  • http://thahiphopcorner.com/forum Kevin

    Cleveland gonna be salty forever

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 ENDSwing

I saw Shaq Bring a title to LA while we were still without one, let me tell you you dont feel any type of pleasentness when you see another team hoist your trophy. Thats what Cavs fans are prepairng for

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

J, I’d argue that there’s different types of relationships. The weren’t bed partners or “family” like this douchey video says. There was no blood relation. Let’s be clear about that.

  • http://www.slamonline.com J

Eboy.. That’s you man. But not all in Florida is Eboy right? You can’t say they’re suck*rs just because they’re different from what you believe/do in that situation. I HEART LEBRON WHEREVER HE GOES. HE’S MY GUY.. But the thing is I can’t say those people are lesser than me just because they do this kinds of things.

  • http://slamonline.com tealish

@EBOY — Don’t forget, there’s one minor maybe major difference in that scenario: Wade actually won you guys a championship.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Lebron got them to a Finals appearance and consistent playoff appearances. Lebron. Got. Them. There.

  • http://www.slamonline.com J

These guys will move on. Change is inevitable. But on when is not in our hands. Let them be..

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

There not lesser than me either, J…..just with a little less of a life than me.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    *They’re not

  • http://Www.fiba.com Darksaber

Hahahaha, that was so much funnier than the stupid south park parody. Quitness!! Ha!

  • http://www.slamonline.com Negative Kreep

Eboy gives himself credit while being critical of others, and in the same breath tells you how much better he’d have handled it if Wade would have joined LeBron in Cleveland or Chicago. Priceless. Please do us a favor and shut your pie hole Yoko!

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Who is this kid? I think he needs a hug or something.

  • bambe

This is amazing. In sports you should stick to your team, not to your favourite player!!

I’m with you Cavs fan. And Thanks Dirk for staying IN Dallas.

  • http://www.slamonline.com J

Question. Should ALL OF THEM had moved on by NOW? I mean NOW? In just almost four months? Look, a torn ACL won’t totally heal in four months.. How much more of a microfracture knee surgery..

  • http://www.slamonline.com jumpman3224

Seriously, whoever made this video deserves a lot fo credit because it looks professional and is kind of brilliant. Also can we cool it on all of the Cleveland hate. It’s uncalled for. Sure it has its flaws, but it has much going for it than most people credit. Also, everyone is so quick to criticize Cavs fans for being bitter and to say that they would handle it differently. Truth be told, this situation has never happened to another fan base and will likely never happen again. So, the experience is not transferable and shouldn’t be put down by every non Cavs fan.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Negative Kreep

Over your radar am i? (sigh)… PS:I’ll pass on the hug you old man.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    I was quoting Kobe, dummy.

  • http://www.slamonline.com jumpman3224

    *much more

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Sorry, I refuse to be swayed that at least 50% of recent Cavs “fans” were fans of THE TEAM and not just ONE GUY. You’re all stuck in some strange wormhole. Somebody brought up the Michael example earlier. Once Mike left, who outside of Chicago was still rooting for the Bulls? A tiny group of people? Maybe? Stop it.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Negative Kreep

Yeah Raja i get it, you are very funny…

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    Gracias.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

I still maintain that the only person who was really funny was the man with the Ax.

  • neaorin

I’d like last season’s Eboy back too. He was pretty funny and cool, this version has too much U MAD? in it. And seriously, it’s a fucking YouTube video. I wasn’t aware this vid was made by the entire Cavaliers fan base – who apparently didn’t even exist before 2003 and we’re all a bunch of bandwagoners.

  • http://www.slamonline.com jumpman3224

@AllenP: the ax guy was great, i like the girl on the street and the barber too. But, I don’t think this was intended to be funny.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

I liked the fat chick with the gun that looks like she had an org……oh wait, she was in the Kobe Call of Duty ad.

  • http://www.slamonline.com J

E.. I’m sure there will be people in Florida who will react the same way, who will be bitter for a longer time, if D3 left by the way Bron Bron did (or regardless of how he did it). Again not all residents in Florida is named Eboy.

  • http://www.runninglikwidworks.com Mr. RLW

    Two comments:

1.) This was really well done, whether you like the end product or Cavs fans sentiments or not

2.) CO-sign with Hangtime Hec. LeTravel had a right to leave. Cavs fans have a right to hate. The end. Also what a lot of folks fail to consider, is LeTravel like a lot of sports superstars, is basically a homegrown product. From Akron to Cleveland is like going across the street. He’s basically always been in Cleveland. And for him to leave the way he did… that kind of disgust doesn’t just go away. I’m not even a Cavs fan (far from it), and I despise everything about ‘the decision.’

  • http://slamonline BossTerry

    Ya’ll still got Drew Carrey..

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

Comparing DWade’s potential Miami departure to LeBron’s exodus from Cleveland is ridiculous. For one, DWade is an NBA superstar born and raised in Chicago, not Miami. There isn’t as much of an emotional attachment from fans like there was for LeBron who was born and raised in the Ceveland area. Two, I have no doubt that DWade would’ve handled the situation with much more class. Three, LeBron made promises to a city that has been mired in sports failure for decades. There’s nothing going on in Cleveland, both from a sports and socio-economic perspective. He gave that city hope and a reason to feel good about itself as ridiculous as that may sound. They weren’t the laughing stock of sports anymore. So sure, on the outside looking in it’s easy to say let it go or move on. But those people had an attachment to LeBron — that was very unhealthy — that you really can’t blame them for. I’m sure had he handled things differently, classy and with professionalism, the people of Cleveland wouldn’t be so upset with him.

  • http://www.slamonline.com J

Anyway.. Lets get over this and just laugh at the video..

  • http://www.slamonline.com Negative Kreep

Yeah but the thing is, your sitting in sunny Miami. South beach glitz n’ glam n’ all that sh!t..Hollywood east, talking about “Get the f*ck over it, crybabies. Enjoy your sh*tty winter!” Its funny how the same dudes that will tell you how sh!tty of a place Cleveland is, how its nothing without Lebron be the same dudes gloating talking all that get over it stuff.

  • http://slamonline BossTerry

Man, this really says something about the people of Cleveland.. Co-sign everyone who said “get over it”. I dont see a problem with a guy in his prime wanting to join a team that has a chance to do great things.. You dont see Phoenix’s fans being so hateful towards Amar’e, or the Raptors fan making hateful youtube videos.. I dont think LeBron is a “bad guy”, media whore, maybe, but not an as$hole..

  • JTaylor21

BCrawford, cavs fans would have still been just as mad if he didn’t do the tv special. You don’t know that these people actually believed that he owed to them to stay with the cavs for his entire career and that he was part of their “family” when in reality dude wasn’t even born in the same area as them, didn’t know any of them personally and owed it to himself and no one else to make the decision he saw fit. Fans are crazy like that, they believe that because they pay to go watch these guys play, the players owe it to them to be loyal at all costs and never leave the team even if the team sucks. All fans are greedy and selfish to a certain extentand cleve fans are no exception.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Negative….even without Lebron….we’d still have Dwyane and that’s enough to keep us tropical as*holes happy.

  • neaorin

This also says something about folks who equate a few outspoken (and bitter) fans with “the people of Cleveland”. It’s a YouTube video, not a joint declaration or something. And that tattoo really doesn’t fit anymore.

  • neaorin

And I miss the Eboy from the past couple of years. He was funny and cool. This version has too much U MAD? in it.

  • vtrobot

@ Eboy: If D-Wade had a “decision” like LBJ did and left MIA like that, you’d be OK with it? C’mon, man. Regarding all of the fans around the world who were really ‘Bron fans and not CLE fans, most of those people are on your team’s bandwagon now. It’s fans who cheered during the Miles and Ricky Buckets years who are crossing off “James” on their jerseys and writing “Traitor.” Part of it is about him leaving, but the real bitterness that will remain in CLE for a while is all about how he left.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Myles Brown

“Waaah!” “Oh yeah? Well…Waaaah!” “Stop!” “No, YOU stop!” “WAAAAAAH!”

  • Nicole

@ Eboy How about you get a life instead of posting ten comments on how whiny and awful Cleveland Ohio is. Chill out, Clevelanders are upset. We love our sports no matter if we win or lose (obviously). When you live in Ohio and have watched LeBron from day one, not just on the court but in the community, you take it personal when he up and leaves. LeBron ran Cleveland and we all felt like he loved us (Cleveland) as much as we loved him. Do you kinda understand better now??? It’s so easy for somebody from another state to judge Clevelanders as big babies but when a economically poor city is lifted from the lowest low by a born and raised Ohioan and then tossed aside it hurts. Any TRUE sports fan would feel the sting from that. You must not have truly every loved a hometown sports team. Sorry you haven’t experienced that.

  • JTaylor21

@negativekreep, you can still turn on the tv and watch him play right? So stop acting like you will never be able to watch him play again or maybe you like watching the sorry a** cavs lose and believe in the most honorable dan gilbert’s championship guarnatee. Quit with the pitiful routine and the “my life sucks” act okay, there’s more to life than cheering for a team. Sh*t I’m in vegas right now and we don’t have a pro-team to think of and I’m not complaining.

  • Nicole

vtrobot…..and who do you think were the fans that were rooting for Miles and Ricky Buckets? People that actually love THE CAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT ONE GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those people are still filling their building!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They CAN be mad….all those bandwagon jumpers can su*k it….I don’t want them rooting for the team I support. I’ll root for Lebron now…but if dude leaves in 5 seasons, big f*cking deal…I’ll have the pleasure of seeing the dude in my teams uniform for half a decade and he may help them to win titles. If he doesn’t I won’t be mad at him. He’s going to give the Heat a a better chance to win than the talent they had the last 4 seasons. That’s real.

  • Rick

HAHAHAHAHA, I was born in Cleveland but was raised and live in Miami and this is just sad. Cavs fans should just get over it. If they are going to be upset with anybody it should be the Cavs owner for allowing this to happen. He said, in his rant, the Cavs will win a ring before Lebron, but I haven’t seen him do anything about it.
Pat Riley sold the Heat better than the Cleveland Management/Owner sold the Cavaliers to Lebron, so be upset them…

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Nicole, It’s cute that you have team support, I commend you. I also recommend getting a life. It’s helpful in real-world scenarios….like a BASKETBALL PLAYER LEAVING YOUR TEAM CAUSED YOUR WORLD TO END! That’s pretty sad, huh?

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

nearoin, you liked me better, why? ‘Cause the Heat sucked and NO ONE ELSE IN THE SLAM UNIVERSE SUPPORTED THE TEAM so I was some kind of clown to amuse cats like you cause I had no team to speak of or about, so I was a goofy joke-dropper? Well, guess what? It’s different now. I’d rather be nasty and uncool if I’m supporting a winner. I’m sorry.

An ugly guy convinces a smokin’ hot chick to marry him.. After some years, she finds a different dude that can bring her true happiness.. The ugly guy starts telling everybody who will listen- Shes a wh0re, shes a closet drunk, shes a horrible mother, she has this really weird mole on her back, with hair.. Truth is- If given the chance, he would take her back in a heartbeat.. Cleveland- where ugly people happen..

  • neaorin

You can’t really have “get a life, it’s just sports” and “f*cking losers, enjoy your sh*tty winter” in the same sentence. Its quite easy to see why.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Oh and to all the loyal Clevelanders that may or may not speak out, blame Pat Riley, Mickey Arinson and Andy Elisburg. They were the ones that created the opportunity….Lebron just took the better option.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Peter O’Toole

There’s nothing funnier than a grown man who spends his days on the internet arguing with children telling others to get a life. And It’s not four years later, its four months and four games later. Does anyone expect them to get over it so easily when LeBron is on TV 24/7 reminding them of what happened?

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

nearoin, the f*cking losers and their sh*tty winters have nothing to do with the sport.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

I’d be willing to bet that Peter O’Toole once went by the initials M.A. I see you, kid.

  • neaorin

Then why bring up the sh*tty winters at all? I mean, we’re talking sports here, right? What does the Ohio climate have to do with anything? Still don’t get it?

  • JTaylor21

Nicole, did you just say that bron “LOVED” them and they “LOVED” him back? COME ON man, is this Days of Our Lives. There’s no such thing as love in sports, so get that straight. The sporting world is just like the business world when you start mixing emotions and getting personal, it clouds your judgment. Also do you even know the dude personally? So how the hell would he love someone he doesn’t know, I watched almost every cavs game he played in and I never left feeling a sense of love between bron and I. What’s love got to do, got to do with.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Fine, neaorin, I’m wrong about my stance. Thank you for the debate without us resorting to name calling.

  • http://slamonline.com mason eberle

clevland fans r crybabies, they should be grateful 4 what lebron did 4 them, he took them to the finals and the playoffs. LeBron didnt quit his team did and i am pretty sure that they try 2 make him feel guilty, true fans would respect lbjs decision. and maybe they should stop whining and rebuild there team, i do feel sorry 4 the decent players that were still on the team.

  • Harlem_World

Cleveland make an ad about this? However this was done, it’s absurd. He’s gone and he’s not going back – you all are making sure of that. Focus on rebuilding your team to compete.

  • http://slamonline.com mason eberle

clevland fans r dumb. he bought them from a bad team to the best in the leage. 2 bad they r a bunch of babies

  • T-Money

Clevelanders are really starting to sound like a girlfriend that got dumped and can’t get her life back together. “It’s not that he left, it’s the WAY he left! He was so cold, like the last 7 years didn’t mean ANYTHING to him! I thought he loved me, I thought he cared for me! I did everything for him, EVERYTHING! He’s a… he’s a MONSTER! Waaaaaah!” Puh-leeze. What superstar doesn’t promise a ‘chip to his city? That’s really the issue here? I mean… really?

Let’s be clear, unless some company is behind this it’s not an “ad.” It’s a home made Youtube video. Cleveland didn’t make it, a few (presumably) North East Ohio residents did.
@Mason Eberle: “LeBron didn’t quit his team did” – i think it is pretty commonly thought that lbj quit in game 5, or at least didnt put forth max effort. That is the specific instance that the video is referencing. Also, he never bought (brought) them to the best in the leage (league). Because, he never delivered that championship he promised.

  • vtrobot

@ E: i’m just saying to go easier on CLE fans, that sh*t is still raw. be happy that you live in a beautiful city and you have a very entertaining b-ball team to watch again. @ JTaylor: the loyal superstars in small markets get love. think clyde in portland. there was love in the memorial coliseum for decades. bron just chose the lust over the love. peace.

LeBron loves cereal. Among his favorites are Fruity Pebbles, Frosted Flakes and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

LeBron shoots righthanded, but eats and writes with his left hand.

  • Roadrunner

I’ve seen this story before somewhere. The chosen one (LeBron), spawned by the force, was foretold to come to a dying race (Cavs) and bring balance and happiness to all. Instead of leading them to victory, he betrayed them, and joined the dark side (Pat Riley). He achieved many victories (NBA titles) as a dark lord, but meanwhile, his son was working to overthrow evil. The dark lord is moved by the passion of his son (LeBron Jr.) and turns back to the light and defeats the evil (Kobe) forever. So don’t worry, Cleveland. Just wait a few years for Bron Jr. to join the Cavs, and the chosen one shall return and bring victory.

  • Jose

Those last couple seconds of that vid gave me a creepy a$$ vibe…Well put together but as you all have said…im sick of hearing it

  • http://www.twitter.com/TheDiesel Anton

Despite no foul calls awarded, LeBron rescued the Chilean miners by cutting through the ground with his sharp jaw.

  • Blackphantom

Of course Cleveland’s being bitter, but they have a right to be, this is a free country. Lebron chose to leave, Cleveland chose to be bitter. Not surprising considering they’re Sports fans. I’m a sports fan, a Steelers fan at that, I’ve heard every diss that could be aired out against Ben. Same with Kobe in ’03(Yes I’ve been a Laker fan before then, die-hard, no bandwagon-ness over here). It’s just part of sports that fans’ll do anything to bring a player down if they don’t satisfy them or if they play for team they hate (ala Ben Roethlisberger being called a rapist by Raven Fans, Steelers fans replying that Ray Lewis is literally a murderer etc.)

This video was great. Similar to the south park episode (BTW: writers of the show are not from Cleveland), nice paradee of the nike ad. It’s funny to me that people say things like the people of Cleveland need to ‘get over it’, what does that mean? Should they continue to root for the guy, should they not boo him when he comes back, should they not respond to HIS commercial that speaks to leaving Cleveland again? Get real, how do they show that they got over it? LeBron makes a commercial about his decision to leave Cleveland – why wouldn’t we expect somebody from Cleveland to make a response video like this? That doesn’t meat they didn’t get over it. It’s like if you find out your ex-wife/girlfriend is talking smack about you behind your back – you may be over her but probably going to respond in some way. When LeBron goes back to Cleveland, ofcourse they are going to boo him – why wouldn’t they after the way he left? Similarly, I’d bet they cheer for Big Z when he comes back to cleveland (like they did Shaq on his return). I’m not sure what it means or what it looks like to ‘get over it’ so I can’t say that Cavs fans are or not. What I do know is that they have accepted the fact that LeBron is gone and they have a rebuilding process. I also no the media will make a big issue of it when the Heat play there – and appropriately you’ll see the cavs fans boo LeBron (aka LaBum aka LaQuitter etc according to cavs fans) and make paradees of LBJ in order to get on TV (also they burned his jersey for TV cameras). Anyway, this video was well done – so was the South Park episode. I’m more surprised there aren’t more out there.

  • Leoni

    WELL DONE

  • CAPTAIN HINDSIGHT

CLEVELANDERS SHOULD NOT HAVE ASSUMED LEBRON LOVED THEM. HE WAS NEVER ONE OF THEM. HE NEVER SHARED THE CITYS PAIN. HE WAS A BULLS, YANKEES, COWBOYS FAN.

  • http://slamonline.com Brad Long

They needed a Delonte West cameo…

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    I agree w B Long!

  • 2k Champ

I honestly think lebron would’ve went back 2 Cleveland after he won a couple of ships in Miami..but after the way y’all treated him, the only way you’ll EVER get another superstar is through the draft.

  • Dre

Lebron should do a commercial saying… ” should I beat yo @$$ by 50 pts? Should I score 60? Should I dish out 30 assists. Since you won’t get over it… I will make u get over it”.

Cleveland fans r the laughing stock… they should just remove the team from Cleveland they are pathetic.

  • The Philosopher

This is why he is The King.
And, co-sign Bryan Crawford on it being funny. It was funny as hell.

It will be until he retires.

You know, I’d kinda hate to be whoever the Cav’s 2011 lottery pick ends up being. They’re gonna put so much damn pressure on the kid to go out and be the Anti-LeBron and be just as talented as him, and it’s just not gonna happen..

  • robb

Seriously people get a life. Oh I forgot you don’t have one, you’re from Cleveland.

  • The D Train

I’ve never lived close to Chicago. I loved the Bulls because MJ was what I grew up on. MJ left, and I still rooted for the Bulls. I also root for the Chiefs. They’ve been mostly below-average since forever. Derrick Thomas and Christian Okoye got me hooked. So I’m at least one guy that has stuck with teams after my fav guys left. They exist. There might have been a few of them in this video. Maybe not. I just have never understood the elitist ideals that fans wish to apply to everyone else. I don’t believe I can really consider anyone less of a fan because they don’t root under the same set of ideals that I do.

I agree with the video 100%. Lebron did leave them, so if Clevelanders want to stay mad, then I can’t be mad at them. Lebron is not what they thought he was, I agree with that and so those 70% of NBA players and 60% of basketball fans. BOOK IT!!

  • The D Train

@Tarzan: absolutely. I’ve got my Priest Holmes jersey that I will be proudly rocking when KC visits the mighty ‘Hawks of Seattle over Thanksgiving weekend.

  • Chris

People are seeing this as just an extension of their bitterness, but when Lebron goes on TV and asked an open question, he has a right to reply from anybody.

They do have a point in the video; about the ‘should I be who you want me to be?’.

He took the minds of Clevelanders 90% of the way there, with that ‘won’t stop until’, quote, wearing the number 23, having an ‘us against the world’ mentality.
They also do have a right to ask questions about his vanishing act against Boston, which was engulfed in the ensuing tsunami afterwards.

In most instances yes, Cavs fans are being bitter.
In this case, if you don’t think you’ll like the answer, don’t ask the question.

  • Gogadantes

It’s funny how pretty much every LeBron defender out there makes it sound as if Cleveland fans are a bunch of whiny sore losers because they’re upset that LeBron left them, and always leave out the part about HOW HE LEFT THEM. THAT’S the part that those people are angry about, and I don’t blame them.

You’d feel bummed when your star player leave your city’s team, but you’d feel angry if he was being a jerk in doing it with an unprecedented and narcissistic series of moves. It’s only natural.

  • Josh

    This. Is. Freaking. Fantastic.

  • http://www.twitter.com/HurstySYD Hursty

C’mon.. that was pretty damn funny.

  • flippity

this makes me love Bron even more. I didn’t care either way, but the hate kind of fuels the excitement now. You know he’s gotta have SERIOUS motivation now. I remember when Shaq left Orlando. It felt so empty, but I didn’t hate him. I definitely didn’t make a video and complain. Go Miami!

  • Jackie Moon

Okafor dropped 26 and 13 rebounds on 12/13 shooting … You think maybe the Heat are soft in the middle? Maybe? Just raising the possibility … too bad the Lakers don’t have the personnel to exploit THAT …

  • bashmo

well…Obviously people are still butthurt about this whole thing. But now, I mean he gave everything he could for that organization. People saying he was a quitter. Lets see that girl step onto the court in game 4 against the celtics. The Cavs were not able to compete with the celtics, because of the celtics Defense and the fact that Lebron was the only Cavalier that can hopefully keep em in the goddamn series. People need to stop hating seriously

  • JTaylor21

Jackie Moon your beloved lakers are giving up more than 102 ppg and allowed the raps to run up 103 on them. Maybe some team with great scorers can exploit THAT…too bad the heat aren’t that team….

  • ab40

yeah and lebron didn’t want that pressure. it seems he was like ey I’m not going to do this alone and he started defering to his much worse teammates when they needed him to take over. and come on he made a promise all this hype and he could’ve just told the cleveland organisation in advance like an hour before that show. he had rifts with management three years prior and well the writing was on the wall. they should’ve traded for stoudamire last year and signed joe johnson.

  • Ged23ai

This isn’t good for for the tourist industry bad losers cavs fans I use that word very likely

  • Dre

Anybody that agrees with those idiots 100% should consider themselves very immature and quite childish. It is a freaking sport get over it… he didn’t ask to be traded when he was with you. He left in free agency. Players do it all the time, no other fan base acts like these pathetic fools. The bad thing is they are too stupid to see they that are truly playing themselves. First of all, it makes you look beyond pathetic. Secondly, you are going to make him have a career night against your team. I for one have heard that the Cavs players want the fans to shut the hell and up concentrate on them and they are too stupid to realize that. Actually more players agree with what Lebron did and they understand it… even Kobe said he agrees with what Lebron did. Now fans on the other hand are a bunch of emotion driven babblers. They don’t truly understand how pro sports work because they are so detached from what pro players go through. That I understand to a certain degree. Here are the things I understand about Cavs fans. I understand their disappointment because I know they believed that he was THEIR guy and would never leave. The way the “Decision” was done; I totally understand while that would make them mad. However those grown @$$ people need to get over themselves and get over it. That one guy said, you could have told us a couple of weeks before. Who in the hell has ever done that and if he did like that wouldn’t have made you mad. They are a bunch of sore losers and liars. They are going to make him embarrass them further… they need to shut up. Taking the words of one of my favorite posters… you can BOOK IT.

  • Dre

MR. RLW is so wrong.. like Lebron and other people from Ohio has stated. Cleveland and Akron people have never, ever liked each other. Cleveland people wanted to hold on to Lebron and call him their own after he started getting the fame. Before they considered him a hick from Akron. So they need to shut the hell up. If you notice what they printed this summer many people from Akron don’t feel the same way the people in Cleveland do. I like how Steve Harvey who is from Cleveland talked about how stupid the people from his city was acting.

  • Dre

An ugly guy convinces a smokin’ hot chick to marry him.. After some years, she finds a different dude that can bring her true happiness.. The ugly guy starts telling everybody who will listen- Shes a wh0re, shes a closet drunk, shes a horrible mother, she has this really weird mole on her back, with hair.. Truth is- If given the chance, he would take her back in a heartbeat.. Cleveland- where ugly people happen..

    from Boss Terry

I had thought of the exact same scenario. LOL! That was great! What do you say The Seed… BOOK IT? LOL

  • http://iknomusic.com Andrew

Hey how come nobody is mad at Žydrūnas Ilgauskas, he left too lol. Ohio, it sounds like you forgot this is “professional basketball” not college or high-school. Stop crying and rebuild your team, but this time actually build a team, and don’t rely on just one guy.

  • flipnoyce

^^Ya what about Ilgauskas, he’s been in Cleavland longer than Lebron had, why isn’t he being blamed for abandoning this team? Lebron wants to win a championships not conference titles. They could of offered him all the money he wanted and still would of left. Dan Gilbert should have told Lebron that he’ll move the team to Akron instead and see that would have changed Lebrons perspective, just a thought.

  • JC

That’s a lot of free publicity for Nike….well done Cleveland!

  • AKROWDY

Of course no one in NE Ohio is happy that he left. But, I think most people were not talking about Lebron anymore until that new Nike ad. came out slamming the city all over again.

I could care less now that he left. But, what urkes me is all of the “new” front-runner Miami fans out there. Congratulations to these frontrunners they just got one of the biggest frontrunners in sports. These were the same people over the years talking about Lebron being a crybaby, about the crab dribble, and always talking about how Dwayne Wade or Kobe is the best player in basketball not Lebron. But, all of a sudden they love him and all that past criticism from Miami has disappeared. Even Miami, which has been a steady contender the last several years, has had trouble selling out all it’s games even in the year they won the title. Let’s see if with Lebron that is finally enough to pack the house every night? A real Cleveland fan doesn’t owe Lebron anything, they are fans of the team who will continue to show their support and not fans of the man.

  • jon

    PATHETIC

  • jc

get over it. if you really liked bron you d respect his choice and not act that childish.
be thankful that he granted a mediocre and boring nba franchise so much media coverage over the years.

that’s the way it is. ever wondered why the big stars don’t want to play in ohio?

  • killa cam

1.cleveland is ass, YOU GUYS STILL GOT KID CUDI THOUGH!
    2. i look at it like this, lebrons a great talent,he is going to be great, he was born and raised in ohio…you guys pretty much created lebron. that to me is even better to brag about than an nba championship in cleveland..you guys shape one of ( if maybe not) the greates athlete in sports history. then you can tell any cleveland haters to shove it ” we raised lebron b****!!” lol
    3. knowing lebron ( if you cleve didnt act like asses..) he would of dedicated his first ring to cleveland. cause he has that much love( or use too) for you guys. in a way miami is just a means to an end for him.his ultimate goal ( was?) to make you guys proud smh bitches.
