Video: Derrick Rose’s Monster Dunk vs. Knicks

The Knicks‘ impressive road win last night may have come as a surprise; what wasn’t entirely shocking, was DRose unleashing yet another mind-blowing dunk:

    That’s the difference between Rose and Russ, russ is mostly a one-legged jumper while Rose is equally devastating off one or two legs. That was BOOMSHAKALAKA!!!!

    Damn! Looks like Rose took off from like 15 feet outside the key and got shot out of a cannon. With 2 hands no less! Rose is good for one of these insane dunks a few times per season. That one last season vs. Drajic of Suns was crazy. Fast don’t lie is so true.

    That last view shows just how impressive that dunk was. His dunks look nice because he pulls them way back and kicks back with his legs too. It makes it look like an NBA jam dunk.

    You’re right cantrell, Rose gets higher. You’ll never see a dunk like this from westbrook because he needs to take off of one foot. Which means he’s not dunking in traffic like this.

    dang awesome dunk. Yup definitely the best pg dunker but westbrook is also very good at dunking as well. w/e both vicious dunkers. westbrook’s putback slams are beast though gotta admit guy is a ferocious rebounder.

    i just like westbrook dunks more bc he goes in with some crazy power. lol don’t shoot me or call me a rose hater i like power dunkers. yes yall will say rose goes in with power but definitely not the power westbrook goes in with. ive seen my fair share of finesse dunkers vince carter and TFB(except for elevator) have me all finessed out…

    The coolest thing about this dunk is that you can actually see Rose look down at the defender, notice who he’s playing him, see there is no help behind him, and then kind of smirk before exploding past him. It all happens in the span of 5 seconds, but if you watch closely, you’ll see it.
    The strangest thing is how this dunk didn’t make Taj Gibson or Noah go crazy. On most teams, if you dunk like that, it gets everybody on the floor hype.

    Westbrook is nice but Drose is just filthy + Russ misses alot of dunks, seriously, not just in fiba, but this year too. I watched the Thunder games on league pass.
