Video: Kobe Bryant’s ‘Call of Duty’ Ad

Pretty funny commercial for the video game, though it’d have been infinitely better had Bryant worn his Laker uniform while firing away (it’s a metaphor you see!):

    Isn’t Black Ops made by the company that does World at War (which was horrid) and not Modern Warfare (which was one of the biggest time wasters of my life?)
    I bet Lebron plays Modern Warfare. Just saying.

    I did not like this commerical AT ALL. It looked like there were some kids with guns shooting also. I hate that Kobe is supporting this type of commercial with all the shooting and killing – I would think we have more than enough of that in real life. That’s not a image that Kobe want to be a part of.

    JUKAI; TREYARCH(WORLD AT WAR) DID INDEED MAKE BLACK OPS, BUT DESPITE PREVIOUS GAME, THIS WILL BE THE BEST SHOOTER GAME OF ALL TIME. WITH MANY GAME MODES, EVEN BOND STYLE TRAINING AGAINST BOTS, IT WILL HAVE SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. INFINITYWARD FELL APART. TREYARCH HAS IMPROVED GREATLY AND THIS GAME WILL SHOW THAT.

    @kelly This Commercial is only a metaphorical picture of people behind computer playing the game. So instead controlling their avatars, their real faces are shown,comparing them with ingame characters. They show that everyone plays this game from KB, hotel concierge, construction worker to that girl with eating disorder :) . To me this ad is really great, maybe the best in this genre. Only one negative comment i heard from a friend of mine who said they shouldnt associate kobe with any sort of rifle as people might think, woah first a rapist now he is shooting people, but thats really far fetched.
