JJ Redick Introduces Shotloc

Shotloc is a shooting device that can be utilized to help perfect the timeless art of the jumpshot. As we see here, Orlando Magic guard JJ Redick uses one, so the makers of this new product might be on to something. Check it out:

    Nice song clearance! Honestly, if they had the ShotLoc when I was 12, I bet I’d turned out to be a much better shooter.

    FFs quite clearly this didn’t help him develop his shot they are using his own talent to sell their rubbish.just lie getting a guy that’s ripped saying watch tv and use this and you will get a six pac in 2days

    I think the thing most people have an issue with when learning to shoot is keeping the elbow on their shooting hand from flaring out to the side. Before i watched I thought it would address that.

    reason number 2 why slamonline needs the disqus system of comments…also shotloc is not only a stupid name but misleading in itself. It does not improve your form or your release just by spreading your fingers.

    Did some research. There’s actually scientific studies that this works. Locks the fingers in the proper place. keeps the ball off the palm. No other product has proof!

    It won’t help your form, but spreading your fingers and not palming the ball are very important aspects of shooting. It doesn’t look expensive, so I’ll probably check it out to see if it can help the kids I coach stop palming it when they shoot.

    I ordered two when this article came out, and I still haven’t received them after two weeks. I can’t even contact the compnay- they responded initially but then have ignored followup emails. Worst of all, I’ve been charged the full amount for the order on my credit card but don’t have the official order confirmation yet.

    I ordered two for my kids after reading about it in slam 5 weeks ago. So far NOTHING except form letter from company saying I would have it no later than last week! Is this a real company SLAM? Can you please check into why they are taking peoples money and not responding?

    These guys have made it up to me, they shipped my order to Vietnam and the Shotloc is pretty cool. I can see how it will help, especially younger kids learn how to shoot the right way.

    People need to understand that this product and their website is a complete fraud. Ordered my product a month ago and they have yet to ship or reply to my countless emails. JJ Redick and Shotloc should be embarassed that they are scamming young children.
