Video: Andrew Bynum Dunks Over Amar’e Stoudemire

Andrew Bynum had a dominant performance against the Knicks and Amar’e Stoudemire last night. This was the punctuation point:

He’s getting stronger every game…. Preparing to make anoher run … beware…..

  • nyemah2k

@ Cizzo, another run to the doc?

Hey Stan van Gundy, didn’t Bynum and Amare’ take postmove lessons from Hakeem?

  • irondan21

If he finishes the season without crutches then I will be impressed. 7-1 guys are suppose to dunk on “6-10″ guys.

Agree with irondan. Moreover, Amar’e punched Bynum’s shot more than once on similar attempts. Bynum has gotten better, but he still has some work to do.

  • riggs

umm where are the videos of amare blocking the ish out of him?

  • http://staticseth.blogspot.com Seth

Great position in the key. Not much Amare could do…

  • mp7three

Is Leon Wood going to eject this video too? Amare was hacking away with no calls and getting to the line for slight touches while Bynum & Kobe were getting beat up with no whistles. Surprised Artest wasn’t arrested for clotheslining Amare. Either way, Bynum dominated & dunked on him.

    Bynum took lessons with Kareem…
The guy’s pretty good now as it stands, I doubt many would argue he’s starting center worthy and he’s only 23, with alot of experience in the league. He could be a beast someday without a doubt. And look at what sitting for a year did for Blake… You do learn some things off the bench too.

that was a wack dunk, but great position.
I love how Bynum works at sealing his man. Very few players are more adamant about getting the ball in great position than Bynum. Dude is hungry.

Drew is a big strong kid and once he is healthy enough to get in a full season of experience, he’ll start dunking in the face of the likes of Amare and other “big guys”, ala young Shaq

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

He’ll never be like young shaq. Shoot for young Kareem, their games are more similar.

if he continues to convert kareems teachings into games more often then this dude is destined for greatness.. if he can somehow manage to stay healthy and and if the lakers decide to keep him then he will be the face of the franchise in a couple years as kobe and pau begin to regress with age.. when he is 100% healthy (which for the record is not too often) then the dude can offensively dominate in the post better than any center in the league

I think that the ref’s are going way over-board w/the techinal’s. Basketball is a team sport with a log of emotion and thanks to Commis. Stearn, he has scrwed everything up! The ref’s act like little demi’God’s and it is frustrating for the players and for the fans to watch.

That was nice timing. He barely even acknowledged it coz he’s dunked on Shaq before. It aint no biggie + Amare s tight but hes been on a receiving end of a few posters now unlike Chris Bosh :-) OK NOT A POSTER JUST a screensaver.

  • robb

and he can shoot his FT’s

  • ab40

I miss the old shaq. he dunked on everybody. dwight is just too small to be dominant

  • logues

hey, atleast amare tried playing a little defense by tryin to block the dunk. then again, he did let bynum get a foot from the basket, turn around and dunk on him…

nyamah2k another run to the doc your face!!!
watch out the play of bynum in the playoffs you will eat your words!!!

    amar’e had 6 blocks.

I think this happened last season and everyone was saying how much better Bynum would be than STAT. Guess that worked out well…

At least Amare challenged. Like AllenP said, Bynum had him sealed. Good effort by Amare but sometimes, in a poster, you’re featured and sometimes you’re a prop.

Looks healthy to me. I hope he doesn’t get injured again, because every time he has started to play well then he gets injured.

He has always given Amare problems. Check the stats from the Christmas Day game a few years ago. He was dominating him the whole night.

    Slam should have a ‘swatadaday’……….

Shaq in LA >>>>Howard>= Bynum (Its gonna happen soon. Bynum has better O and does a respectable job of altering shots on D )
