The Knicks took care of business tonight, but not on this play:

Turiaf deserved a tech…Blair didn’t do anything but dunk on him.
turiaf got his feelings hurt.
ACL’s are overrated.
soo whoo thinks turiaf should start tanking charges instead this is getting embarassing. i thiink the confidence you gain from seing turiaf makes theese guys get up a couple inches higher and try to slam on him. turiaf might get more youtube views than griffin for the wrong reason.
great defense amare(!)
Nice, atta boy Blair.
LOL co-sign Ansonpanson.
Animosity in today’s nba? Me like.
Gone are the days where respect was given for a good offensive move i.e. Chris Gatling to Shawn Kemp.

Look at that amazing improved D by Amare! Err. Wait, it probably is an improvement – he actually moved an arm. And I hope Blair didn’t get a T.
Man sized dunk but I’m backing Turiaf all the way! If I was D’Antoni, I’d give him extra minutes for every block he makes. Too many post defenders are scared of getting posterized so they punk out on getting up. @ Greg, that is the most ridiculous statement in the comments so far. If you’re a 6’4 Jeff Hornacek type dude then by all means go for the charge but if you are 6’10 or 240 upwards, get your ass up and try to put that dude on his back. What next Shaq taking a charge because he got dunked on? Dwight? Okafor?
This is the Knicks here, D’Antoni should be telling these kids about our legacy of Defence – Reed, DeBusschere, Ewing, X- Man etc
Oh yeah and most importantly, we just beat the damn Spurs in their own house! Without Gallinari even! Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiit!
i dont have a problem with that. nowadays too many players back off on dunks. the game became a bit too soft. good to see at least some players still take in your face dunks personal. thats just competition. he got t’d for it, thats ok too. dont see any problem at all. was jus a nice dunk and turiaf shows some knicks spirit. id love to see more of this in any team this season
It’s funny to see Amares new defense, that people talked about.
OK so a bit carried away. the road trip hasn’t started yet but the Garden must have been amped.
That’s some of the worst defence I’ve ever seen. I’ve coached eight year olds with better instincts than Stoudemire.
you cant convince me that Dejuan blair doesnt have acl’s. That has to be a bold faced lie! I refuse to believe it.
@Anon e Mouse, you do realise the game was played at the Garden right ?
Yeah see my 5:53 comment.
amare was playing PF there so he was cutting off baseline instead of guarding the middle, yeah he didnt do anything to stop blair but he wasnt in a position on the floor to not do anything but foul.
i dunno riggs, amare couldve at least tried to block it. he was flat footed the entire time, back straight and everything. plus he basically watched the pass go by him before moving. compare it to how fast turiaf reacted
Cutting off the baseline? By ambling about like he’s stuck in mud while wearing concrete boots. Was straight lazy.
Did Ronnie get T’d up for that?
