Video: S.K.Y. China Streetball Reality Show Promo

The search for China’s first streetball star begins this month with the Voit S.K.Y. Shemgod China Tour. The tour consists of nationwide grassroots events, an arena exhibition tour and an eight-episode reality television show on CCTV5. That means over 700 million viewers in China will also be able to experience the best that streetball has to offer. Check out the footage below as legends like Mr.720, AO, Spyda, Pat Da Roc and Helicopter attempt to take streetball to another level in China.

  • Yesse

Starting to remind me of the old good times when And1 was big. Seems like they are gonna climb up again. Ohh, and they still can’t play defense.

  • fruizm

    streetball is dead…let it go.

  • Brown14

@fruizm streetball is dead in America indeed, but the rest of the world is a little behind. In China this stuff probably has the same potential that And1 had back in 2001. I remember when And1 did the Global Invasion back in 2005-2006 when streetball really started its decline and everyone on tour was just soo schocked at how hype everybody in Europe and Asia and South America was to see them. Its dead here but it still has potential in other markets, and I’m glad these guys have the opportunity to get some more checks…real talented dudes. The network this show is gonna be on gets 700 million viewers….thats twice as many people that live in the US…….these guys are gonna make some money

lmao @ grown ass AO still taking his shorts off after the games lmao. Dude was bar none my favorite And1 member, some of the best handles out there PERIOD. Didn’t realize he was 36 now….time flies

i agree dont HATE!! basketball is GLOBAL. behind soccer its about the 2nd most popular sport. its good to see bball courts filled across the globe

  • Stillballin

Streetballers still making that money…let the haters hate.. China really love basketball.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Yeah co-sign Black Rick Kamla. I really liked AO too.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Co-sign just bcuz and Stillballin. There potentially might be a really huge market for streetball in China/Asia, maybe even more so than in the US right now. For one, they can actually play games IN China and Tour China as opposed to other leagues like the NBA (not including the CBA) who at most play a few exhibition games overseas.

  • Hambone

their broke ass jumpshot could complement yao`s broke ass foot

  • leeper

glad to see my all time favorite AO is still making money with his handles. hope all those guys make it big out east. they sure did always hype me up back in the days!

  • fruizm
