Video: Yi Jianlian Goes Coast to Coast

Yi‘s best play of 2011 came on an otherwise quiet Saturday night. Take a look:

    Why is this news….

  • ridiculous

agree with the announcers. that was ridiculously weak transition defense. not to discount yi’s effort. it was a strong play and it’s good that the home crowd saw it.

that has to be two of the slowest guys in the league when it comes to fastbreak.

Bargs gave up after like 5 steps, and Yi looked like he might not even reach the rim after taking 5mins to get to the paint.

Come on Dave, Yi was running pretty hard for a 7 footer.

Not worthy of its own thread.

@dave you’re a idiot. any dude around 7 ft intercept and run the floor like that is somewhat impressive at the very least.

I agree with Flight, why is this news? I’m not trying to hate, but there’s gotta be something more interesting to post…I guess it really was a quiet night

I love Yi, if Blatche ends up traded I hope he gets given the starting nod at PF.

Can also score all over and around chairs.

It sure is awkward watching him dribble.

    LMAO at Bargs

  • @JdotD

This would have been so much more of an interesting headline (and a realistic one) if he just got traded…

That was so soft it’s like he covered the ball in toilet paper before he dunked it. Anyone other than Bargs might have put up at least a show bit of opposition to this play.
