    slam dunk comp has become so very weak in the last 10 years! might as well give the title to Blake, he’s a beast on the dunks. these weak NBA players wanna showboat in a game but in a comp, participation is a no go.

    Most underrated dunk in a dunk comp. of all time was Jason Richardson’s off the backboard between the legs. Pure insanity, but nobody remembers it because Fred Jones won that year on a more impressive missed dunk in the final round.

    @Nicolas I remember that dunk VERY vividly. I was calling JRich the greatest dunker of all time. Then he tried to pull off that 360 between the legs off of the bounce……way ahead of his time, if he woulda pulled that one off he’d be enshrined the GOAT dunker. You’re right, that contest is not as remembered as it should be.

    thing that kinda irks me about Blake is the fact that dude just doesn’t play defense. People talk about how soft Bosh is, but at least dude tries to present himself in the paint on occasion. Blake just camps out on the wing, runs in for rebounds, or runs out for the cherry pick dunk. Zero interior presence on defense…..plus he seems to be a flopper. Check the Eddie House flagrant from this game if you wanna see what I mean…..other than that man, he’s just a really humble kid with an incredible gift, whats not to love
