  • Jimmer Fredette Posted: Mar.21 at 10:48 pm
    PHI SLAMMA JAMMA

  • flipnoyce Posted: Mar.21 at 11:16 pm
New York celebrated too early in the first half, then got lit up in the fourth quarter by Pierce. But, this jam by KG started that comeback. Awesome W by C’s.

  • greg Posted: Mar.21 at 11:31 pm
kevin garnett has lift more often than he has in a while. when players age they can have lift once in a while but not all the time. so for him to do this sort of thing so ofter it is a good sign come playoff time

UHHH RONDO DOUBLE DRIBBLE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU, REF. NICE.

  • BBaller Posted: Mar.22 at 12:41 am
    Well spotted @BMamba12

  • TheBigL Posted: Mar.22 at 1:15 am
@BMamba12. Good eyes. Shoulda been a call and then possibly a T. Rules are rules.

  • arthur Posted: Mar.22 at 4:54 am
KG made the Kobe -jaw thing

  • Hursty Posted: Mar.22 at 5:25 am
@Mamba 12 – not a double dribble. Ever tried sprinting with a basketball without moving your non-dribbling hand towards your centre of gravity (mid-rif)? It’s impossible. You end up with a bent over shuffle type dribble. Alternatively, try running with one hand in your pocket. Your other arm compensates and has extra rotation.
Same thing happens with the basketball. Overcompensation.
So no, not a double dribble, just looks like it from the way his hand moves. Good observation though.
    Just looks like one.

  • pnightmare Posted: Mar.22 at 5:35 am
of course it is a double dribble!!! that sth is impossible to do doesn’t make double dribble legal …

  • Logan Posted: Mar.22 at 5:53 am
@ Hursty – its a double dribble bro

  • Yesse Posted: Mar.22 at 6:26 am
    Looked like the vintage KG.

  • jimmer Posted: Mar.22 at 6:33 am
Better eyes by Jimmer: Its not a double dribble – he only bounced the ball once, last i checked you’re allowed to do that (post moves, anyone?) In the replay the bounce preceeding Rondo’s two handed dribble was actually the incoming bounce pass, the timing of the replay and position of the camera made it look like Rondo’s own dribble that he just picked up and put down again, but he didn’t; he just bounced it the one time. Watch it again. And again. Fair play to all that gravitational stuff by hursy though.

Why do people come on videos like this just to look for violations?

  • jimmer Posted: Mar.22 at 7:15 am
    I got a point though ‘ent I taylor…

  • Riggs Posted: Mar.22 at 7:32 am
In the rulebooks, if youre a catching a pass and its not entirely in your possession then you can use both hands to straighten yourself out. I’ve seen it happened before and i’ve heard it explained before.

  • IAMORANGE4EVER Posted: Mar.22 at 7:47 am
I’m surprised this dunk got posted, after all, the C’s won the game. lol

  • Saviour Posted: Mar.22 at 8:12 am
no double dribble, jesus wept…what is wrong with people and their whining?

  • MUBWAR Posted: Mar.22 at 8:21 am
its funny how Garnett just hobbles down the court but as soon as he touches the ball EXPLOSION. Looks like the Big Ticket is fully healthy before the playoff(better be ready Bosh or he’ll swallow you up)

  • Enigmatic Posted: Mar.22 at 9:42 am
    ^pause!

  • Stepfan Posted: Mar.22 at 10:05 am
peep Landry Fields saying OMG with his hands.

  • Riggs Posted: Mar.22 at 10:51 am

  • Trevor Posted: Mar.22 at 11:06 am
    his best dunk since ’08

  • tRay Posted: Mar.22 at 1:06 pm
    MUBWAR FTW!!!

  • logues Posted: Mar.22 at 4:39 pm
ummm where is the double dribble? he dribbled once picked and passed

  • Chris_Griff_3 Posted: Mar.22 at 5:03 pm
KG, Truth, and Ray have all turned back the clock this year. They look even better, at time, than they did in ’08. They are primed for a deep playoff/Championship run.

  • dfrance21 Posted: Mar.22 at 11:18 pm
I’m with JTaylor people just come to posts to comment on traveling and other nonsense instead of appreciating what the video is for. Great dish and dunk by KG. With that being said, there is no double dribble, look at the first angle and you’ll see he was catching the pass, securing it with two hands, then dribbled once and passed. Its just the point at which the second angle picks it up looks as if he had dribbled the ball previously when in fact he hadnt.

  • paul Posted: Mar.23 at 9:33 am
D Rose’s jam was dope, no doubt, but this is vintage KG, and since his injury we don’t see his ups a lot, so whenever he takes it this aggressive it’s always fun to see
