Video: Shawne Williams Dunks on Dwight Howard

The Knicks couldn’t get the W last night in Orlando, but at least they (and Shawne) went home with the play of the game:

    The only things that made the play hard is he actually threw it in, and Dwight Howard was in front of him. But… you’re right. Not exactly a dunk.

    i have seen 4 or 5 “dunks” like this so far this season, but have not any at all in any season before this.. wth?? its like the new thing in basketball

    If you look @ the video Dwight tried to push him away ala KG/Amare v. Lebron. Not exactly a dunk, but I agree with the above post, if it had been Blake Griffin everyone would think it was Amazing…

    Uhhh, what’s with the Blake h@te? Just because his last dunk in the dunk contest was terribly overrated, don’t get it twisted–IN GAME, he is a beast. Also, his first 3 dunks were pretty good–not better than DeRozan’s, but respectable. Had he landed the first couple attempts, they would have been even better (since they were different and much harder dunks).

    I knew it was only a matter of time before people started disliking Blake.
    Happens to everyone who’s ever enjoyed any measure of success.
    Only time I hate Blake is when the Clips are facing the Bulls.

    what blake got to do with this video….any way Howard push dude body away with his left arm thats why dude had that face when he came down he wanted a and-1. And thats why he was out of reach on the dunk

    This was a very nice play from Shawne – I didn’t know he had that spring in his step. If Dwight didn’t lift that arm and make that ‘arm bar’ position (which incidentally could have been called for a foul) I think Shawne would have had some serious yoke right there. ALMOST makes the list for the 10 dunks of the year.
