Video: Carmelo Anthony Game-Winning Shot and Block

Melo hits big shots late in games all the time, so this wasn’t a shock, but the block? Yeah, that was a nice little surprise for Knicks fans:

meloman statisticly speaking, melo shoots a better fg% than kobe lebron rose wade and durant. the only signifigant scorers that shoot better than him are dirk and monta ellis

  • bashmo

well there was a relatively recent article detailing the FG percentages of some of the league’s top players in the final minute of games throughout their careers and melo was at about 50 percent leading all of them, and kobe was like, below 20 percent shootin in that situation.

  • Anthony

melo is clutcher than kobe… even though we havent got a chance to see it in the finals……….. knicks are gettn swept first round tho

im a melo fan hes better clutch player than everyone but kobe when hits more than kobe than we could say hes more clutch if that’s a word lol i think he could do it over next 5 years

I actually saw a cool stat on nbatv last night, and carmelo has hit the most game winning shots out of anyone since 2003, with 16. Kobe was in 2nd with 15.

(go ahead shot with 10 seconds or less left in the 4th q, or overtime.)

Carmelo shot it right in Granger’s face. As soon as he let it go, I knew it was good. lol

melo could be the best player in the league if he played some semblance of defense on a consistent basis

He is by far the most clutch player in the NBA. In potential gamewinning situations, Melo shoots around 50%. Wade, Kobe, Lebron all shoot around 30%.
