With the Playoffs right around the corner, Melo chopped it up with Dave and explained what life as a Knick is like:

How did Melo not know what the 3 was???…LOL
That was pretty damn funny he didn’t know what David meant by you’re a 3. His response sounds like the chorus for a new Rebecca Black song: I’m smaller then a power forward, bigger then a shooting guard and the 3 comes afterwaaard!
sack the stylist, trousers look like tights.
that was one of the most awkward interviews ever
paraphrase: Do u guys follow march madness? in march we do. ????? really
As much as I’m not a big fan of him, I think Amaré doesn’t get enough credit to put the Knicks back on the map…
Damn!!!! Horrendous interview! If that was Stephon Marbury coming up with these “answers”, he would have caught hell for it! … Between the ‘March madness’ one and the ‘#3′ one?! Wow!
“Do you go to practice?!”
Not a fan of Letterman, but that was good.
Melo definitely stole a lot of Amare’s thunder. Amare kept them afloat all season and he does a lot to promote the team in the city off the court. Melo sure did look uncomfortable in those euro style slacks.
Note to all late night talk shows: Please, when you interview athletes, talk about MORE THAN JUST SPORTS! Most of us have already heard these questions over and over again, and I’m sure the athletes are tired of it. Whenever an actor is interviewed, he/she usually talks about things completely unrelated to acting, or even the film they’re promoting–it doesn’t always work out to interesting, but at least it’s something different. Do the same with athletes, please…
I can see melo’s wang in those slacks
