Video: Chris Paul Abuses Andrew Bynum

CP3 did Andrew Bynum so dirty on this play, Laker Nation was just glad the big fella escaped with still-somewhat functioning knees and ankles:

Hey def coulda got him 1 last time with tha last move and went 2 tha rack

  • http://www.slamonline.com Max

    He probably injured his knee.

  • robb

Of course he was gonna abuse him, I mean, what did you expect? Chris breaking Bynum’s ankles is like Bynum doing a post move on Chris.

  • RobbieJay

    thats violation

  • rich

they really need to stop switching on screens cuz its making their bigs look really bad

    No Regard For Human Life!!!!!!

  • Roger

horrible, just horrible D right there.

Your team did you dirty big fella.

@Roger: That’s an idiotic statement. That was GREAT defense for a freaking center on arguably one of the best PGs in the league. Bynum stayed with him through several moves, it was just the last one that got him.

  • PlanetAsia14

I agree with Holy Baller, dude’s got a point.

  • reflex

cosign Holy Baller, I actually thought Bynum did pretty good all things considered. That little scenario had the potential to be Rose v A.Miller pt 2 but he somewhat managed to stay with him. Nice play from CP3 tho.

I will never understand why the Lakers keep switching on screens. I’d rather give Paul a second than just embarass my bigs.

  • Anthony

it was good d but the box score dnt show it lol…

Great move by Paul but Bynum is right there to somewhat contest the shot, good D from a 7 footer against a PG like Paul.

    My….Good…..Nessss! Gotta love Reggie Miller.

  • riggs

im pretty sure roger meant his teammates leaving him on that island right there to get abused. Also he shouldnt have been left guarding cp in the first place.

  • Roger

lol @ saying dude played great defense by staying on him, its called being tall and not having to move that much. When he actually did try to move he got abused. Idiotic statement my a*s look at your own comment.

    Chris Paul=Nate “Tiny” Archibald

Bynum got turned inside out but he was still there at the end to contest the shot. If anything, cp3 should be embarrassed cuz he shoulda made bymun look real silly.

  • Heals

I guess Andrew forgot his skates. Oh yeah Chukaz after watching that over and over I totally agree, of the 2 Chris should be embarassed…

  • onions baby onions

one of the best feelings in the game of basketball (as a guard) has got to be when a big man gets switched out on a screen and has to d you up one on one

  • Lucky Fakers

hahaha. I swear Kobe has absolutely no D at all. People always mention him as a top defender but to be honest, watch a video of him against the best. They just go right past him whenever they feel like it. He’s very overated as a “top defender”.

  • http://dillanleuyahoo.com Holy Baller

Lol @ Roger for not knowing the basics of basketball defense. If you’re not as quick as the guy you’re guarding, you give him space and don’t let him drive. Bynum gave him space but still didn’t give him the shot up until that last move, and then he still halfway recovered and contested it. Seriously, understand the game. Not great footwork by Bynum, for sure, but good defense under the circumstances.

  • T-Money

Chuckaz: CP3 should be embarassed? lol. He made him do a 360. Bynum had no chance to block that shot.

  • bigmoney

Good D??! Do you guys play basketball?
Anytime you can make a guy turn his back to you, he’s dead.
There’s no way you can call that good defense by Bynum, he had no chance.
