Video: NBA Playoffs Promo

With the playoffs rapidly approaching, the NBA is back on its grind, getting fans around the globe excited with their world-class commercials. From the NBA: “First Hand” is the 2011 Playoffs and The Finals creative campaign. It is designed to showcase the contagious excitement, intensity, and energy of the world’s most dynamic game. Elevating the Finals as the pinnacle of achievement in theworld of basketball, the campaign will shift gears for “The Finals,” where the basketballs from legendary plays will interview two of the greatest players to ever have played the game. The Finals TV spots will focus on the theme of heritage as shown through the point-of-view of past champions. The ads will run from April 12th-June 15, and will air on ABC, ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV.

    even though i’m not a Pistons fan I remember the commercial where amazing happens when he hits a jumper, crowd is wild and he gives some fans high fives.

    Best ad by FAR was Spike Lee’s “What is Drama?” for the 2003 playoffs on TNT. Look it up if you don’t know, it’s worth it.

    Kinda like that they used teams and athletes outside of the big marquee names like Kobe and Bron etc. Good to see them showing the casual fans that some of the lesser-known teams can be just as exciting to watch in the Playoffs.
