Video: St. John’s Bound Amir Garrett

Talk about a fast learner. Amir Garrett, a 6-5 shooting guard from Findlay Prep (NV), started playing organized basketball only four years ago. His ridiculous athleticism and competitive nature rocketed him towards the top of the 2011 recruiting class, earning himself a full-ride to St. John’s. With incoming freshmen Sir’Dominic Pointer, God’s Gift Achiuwa, and Nurideen Lindsey joining Garrett, the Big East will have its hands full next fall. Click play to witness aerial assault.

    I think his actions after the last dunk were pretty good. Usually people just start staring at you or walk away looking mean, but he goes and shows some love.
