Video: UConn Huskies Visit Obama at White House

Check out President Obama’s welcome speech to the NCAA Tournament champs at the White House yesterday. Obama was candid, saying he didn’t expect UConn to advance past the Elite Eight; Coach Jim Calhoun’s play on Obama’s slogan ‘Yes we can’ was well-played; Kemba Walker asked about learning Obama’s ‘presidential walk,’ in addition to challenging the Pres to a game of 1-on-1.

Obama and his team could take out ANY starting 5.
Of course in his case, his “team” is SEAL Team Six and the “taking out” is the permanent dirtnap kind!

Nice video, classy presentation. One thing I noticed: what are the dudes doing chewing gum during a moment like that? C’mon fellas, you’re on camera meeting the President!

That’s awkward about Jamal Coombs-McDaniel. Dude misses out on meeting the President.

If I had the connections, I would definitely arrange for some H-O-R-S-E with the Prez.

This may have been answered somewhere else, but I wonder what the President (not just Obama, but every one) does with the jerseys they are given from every sport that comes to visit him after they win a title because in a 4 year span you would think they accumulate a lot of them. As for Obama, I could see him sporting his basketball jerseys around the White House when there aren’t any cameras around.
