Music Video: Macklemore “Wings”

A chilling ode to the seductive power of sneakers.

Seattle rapper and sneaker collector Macklemore dropped off this video for “Wings” earlier today. A heartfelt song about sneakers and consumer culture (and, in a way, about basketball), this flick captures that message perfectly. Props to Macklemore, a high school classmate of Brandon Roy’s at Garfield (WA), on a job well done.

    Wow! This guy captured the sentiment perfectly. I don’t know how it is n 2days Jr. High and High schools these days, but back when I was n high school if u didn’t have dope kicks (Jordans, Air Max’s, Reeboks, etc..,) u didn’t have sh!t. N most cases that’s how u were judged. F√¢ked up, but that’s how it was.
