We’re a year away from the start of the 2012 Olympics, and excitement is already building. Next month, the brand new basketball arena will be officially opened for a week long invitational tournament, with Great Britain competing against France, China, Australia, Croatia and Serbia.
Seeing as there’s only a year to go, it makes perfect sense that the flood of Olympic-related advertising hype kicks off now, and adidas is leading the charge.
Here’s one of adidas’ new efforts, in which Snoop Dogg and Warren G join British triple jumper Phillips Idowu in a 3 on 3 basketball match against GB basketballers Dan Clark, Ogo Adegboye and Devan Bailey in the Olympic borough of Greenwich, London.—Ben Taylor
