Video: Brandon Jennings Dunks Off the Backboard

Remember BJennings’ springs?

The summertime throwdown by Jennings isn’t quite as bonkers as the one Kevin Durant hammered home a little while ago, but it’s enough to make the crowd lose its collective mind.

I still don’t understand why he doesn’t finish better in the NBA. I remember he with crazy hops in high school and it looks like he still has them. Just goes to show you the talent level in the League.

nah jennings just isnt a dunker and his body is to small to drive past anyone who is actually playing defense unless he completely blows by them

  • rich

some guys just have a ton of athleticism but rarely get dunks off because they just dont play that way

  • seriousblack

I remember B Jennings’ hops. He’s just gotta get more focused on improving his skills. He’s definitely got the talent and athleticism to succeed in the league.

I play like I should be dunking on everyone, but I have no hops. go figure.

i can tell the 2 guys before me like to cal everything when playing pickup games

That’s nice and all. But Brandon took a step back this past season. He needs to be a top ten point guard for the Bucks to have a chance to do anything at all next season.

He still won’t make the ASG

people be saying he took a step back…yeah, after a injury on the foot its always hard to get the mental part back to the game…just ask drose, he had once a ankle injury in the beginning of the season, he didnt play the way he sholud have and it took time for him to be himself again…bjennings is still young so no worries there…

    great t-mac impression

allen, maybe his balance in the air isn’t that great after getting bumped. is that a sign that he needs more strength training?

  • gani

is it just me, or does it look like brandon jennings packed on some muscle? he looks bigger.

It’s just you^ Remember that your use to seeing him around NBA dudes, not Rec league type guys.

Nice dunk, but I still don’t see why he was selected for the dunk contest…Demar DeRozan can make that dunk on 2 broken ankles.

It’s not a travel when you throw it off the backboard

  • Bimmer

@Blue Derozan is taller. Little dunkers look cooler than taller dunkers.

    Those kicks are sick!!!!!!!!

  • flipnoyce

That was a nice dunk regardless of where it was, in the NBA or a rec league. A dunk is a dunk and that was a two handed jam. Gerald Green could jump to the moon but he couldn’t do it in the NBA game and thats why he’s no longer in the US.

    That dunk was incredible.
