Video: Shabazz Muhammad Drops 42 at adidas Invitational

The newest SLAM diarist.

Here’s Bishop Gorman (NV) wing Shabazz Muhammad doing his thing at the adidas Invitational held in Indianapolis from July 6 to July 9. Muhammad, who just completed his junior season, scored 42 points to lead his Dreamvision AAU team to a comeback victory over a tough Indiana Elite squad. Arguably the top player in the class of 2012, Shabazz is the newest SLAM high school diarist, as he makes his debut in SLAM 151.

    ^^ funny thing is Bishop Gorman is a Catholic School….but yeah man kid is an incredible talent. Very smooth lefty, very skillful, I remember seeing a clip of him playing late last year and he was just shooting the lights out from everywhere…nowadays you look at him play and he’s just slashing and attacking the rim at will, complete arsenal. Like a rangier James Harden. will look forward to reading his diary.

    This kid’s got game. I think it’s between him, Andre Drummond and Isiah Austin for number one spot in 2012.
