Summer ball certainly has its pluses—genuine love and excitement from players and fans; players getting big 1-on-1 (Brandon Jennings allegedly dropped 25+ and Josh Selby went for 40+). And did we mention the buildup? Their first showdown last month was just as epic.

    oh my, i give this to Selby…Jennings needs to be in the weight room, but it looks like his confidence may be building…but Jennings NEEDS to be in the weight room…too small right now…

    The only defensive play was Jennings getting ripped. So I give the matchup to Selby also. Still, Jennings confidence sure has skyrocketed.

    Not really T-Money, his outside jumper isn’t bad at all if he controls it. Not saying he doesn’t get a little trigger happy, but the main reason for the low fg% is his lack of being able to finish at the rim. His jump shot is slick, he just needs to start getting easier buckets(layups).

    Ima have to agree with Lakeshow on this. Although Jennings still needs to improve from the outside, he’s a little below average from outside, but nothing that’s too big of an issue. Finishing around the hoop is a glaring weakness though, definitely not the second coming of AI that’s for sure.

    ^^but ya gotta admit he looks like AI quite a bit out there. His jump shot looks similar. His quickness and ability to get in the passing lanes reminds me of AI also. Obviously a destitute mans version of AI though lol. nbk, who you think is gunna be better overall Irving, or Jennings?(i know we haven’t seen K-Irv at all, but i’m trying to get a read on how good he is)

    Real late my bad Lakeshow i had a game tonight. But i dont know offensively i think Irving will be more consistent and efficient but idk how he’ll be as a defender. Jennings is always going to be more exploaive and has more potential regardless of experience. But tough to say right now. Props for that comparison though, i think they will be in the same class as point guards, a step below elite.

    also, i cant believe some of you are comparing Jennings to AI… totally different games…AI CAN finish at the rim. and he would just blow by you, no questions, no playing with the ball, etc…AI also has a better jumper. AI also averaged more assist. AI also scored easier.. AI also was right handed (they dont shoot the same)…be careful, guys
