Video: DeMar Derozan and Derrick Williams Go Back-and-Forth

The two NBAers go at each other on opposite ends of the court.

Last night’s Drew League contest may forever be known as the time Kobe Bryant drained the game-winner, but the action featured plenty of other great stuff, like when Raptors forward DeMar DeRozan and TWolves Draft pick Derrick Williams went head-to-head on consecutive plays, practicing their crossovers and quick moves to the hoop. “He tried to come at me a little bit,” DWill said after the game. “He hit two isolated shots on me. I had to come back back with something, and try and get him back a little bit.”

Those were nasty, considering both of them aren’t known to cross someone up.

Gotta admit, didn’t know derrick williams had such a quick crossover in him. Derozan was D’ing him up hard too.

where are those people who said Derrick Williams can’t play SF now? I think he’ll be just fine.

I’m one of those people who think Derrick Williams can’t play PF. He’ll be fine at SF.

Derozan needs some love too. Man is putting in mad work in his game.
His handles, and defense are vastly improved, and his defense looks
as if hes gonna be a high level perimeter defender in the near future.
Mad potential and mad work ethic, bodes well for dude.

When the season starts I wonder of all these battles players have been in during the summer will spill over to the league. It will be some interesting matchups if so

One clip of Williams crossing over a very below average defender is nice and all but that still doesnt mean he can defend SFs consistently in the NBA
