Video: Derrick Rose Plays One-on-One With Hong Kong Singer

The MVP takes on Hong Kong celeb Pakho.

Derrick Rose is currently in China on an adidas promo tour, and during his first stop in Hong Kong, he found some time to go one-on-one with Pakho, a singer/songwriter with a solid right-handed runner. (That turn-around needs some work, though…) Peep some footage of the laid-back game above.

You can tell Rose is really from Chicago because he checked up on his offensive rebound

Woah, that would be so fun, a dream come true surely!

  • JL

well Pakho is actually not bad! Then Rose dunked.

The difference between Kobe Bryant and Derrick Rose: D-Rose hands the ball over when he catches his own rebound after missing a jumpshot. Kobe would have backed him down from the three-point line to the block 21 times in a row.

haha true. Kobe wants this 1on1 even. He just never loses

J.C., that’s because Derrick Rose can’t back anyone down. His post-up game is trash, but he’s working on it apparently. We’ll see.

@Furry Nipples: Why an athletic, slashing point guard needs a huge post game I’m not sure…
